Days have flown by faster than I could process. Within a week, we've convinced everyone that I was the queen and had a full on plan to get into the Palace. To say I'm anxious is an understatement.
Wind as been absent the past few days and it's worrying me. Has she bailed on the war? Did she go to Sera and tell her our plan?
The last time I saw her was three days ago when she sent Wes, Meredith and I back to the village. I've called for her, but she hasn't responded.
"Wind?" I cry from my bed in Meredith's room. "Wind, please come back. We need you more than ever right now!" I start sobbing.
"Celeste? Are you okay?" I look up and see Wes standing in the doorway of Meredith's room.
I want to tell him I'm okay so he'll leave me alone, but when I try to speak all that comes out are cries. He walks over and sits on the bed beside me. I scoot away trying to avoid him.
"Celeste, what's wrong?" He asks."Nothing." I say through my tears.
"You're crying. What's wrong?"
"Wind. Haven't you noticed she's gone and we're supposed to fight tomorrow?"
"Celeste, Wind isn't going to abandon us. She's probably preparing."
"Preparing for what? We've done everything we can to prepare for this battle!" I look up at Wes.
"She's not going to leave all of Asdania to fight against Sera and her army alone."
"You don't know that." My voice cracks as I try to fight back more tears.
"Not to be rude, but you're being dramatic." Wes looks over at me.
"No I'm not! We're about to walk into a war zone and the only person that can guarantee our safety is missing!" I stand up and storm out of the room.
I run out of the house and head towards the forest that contains the doorway to my closet. At this particular moment I'd rather be anywhere but here. Anywhere!

I reach the area of the door....or where the door used to be. Where is it? OH MY GOSH I'M TRAPPED HERE! I start to hyperventilate and scream. I JUST WANT TO GO HOME! I don't want to be here anymore! Where's the door? By this point I can barely breath and I can feel myself getting light headed. All I remember next is everything going black."Celeste, wake up!" I hear Wes yelling my name. "CELESTE!"
"What?" I groan as I slowly open my eyes.
"Why were you trying to escape?" I hear the voice of Wind."
Wind!
I sit up and notice I'm the the couch in the den of Wes' house. "I was panicking and thought you left."
"Celeste I'm not going to abandon you after we've gotten this far."
"Where was the door?" I ask as I remember that there was no way for me to leave."
"I hid it to prevent you from leaving. I thought there was a possibility you would bail and try to run back home." Wind says.
"I was only trying to go home because you weren't here!"
"Calm down! If it weren't for me you wouldn't even be alive right now!" Wind snaps.
