Gossip. Everyone's done it, everyone's been on the wrong side of it.
It has been a few months since the Knight pack incident and gossip is buzzing. It mostly revolves around he fact that Gavin's mate didn't show up at his funeral, or the fact that Lexi has been starting to show a baby bump.
Everyone wonders what truly went on that fateful day, yes there were some witnesses of Elizabeth's breakdown but they still don't know the full story.
Only a few facts have been proven to be true and those are that Gavin died, and that those who know the truth won't say a word.
So naturally there are many versions for example there is the life or death version that states a brawl broke out and Gavin was simply a casualty while Domingo was able to save the rest of the pack members, or the white knight version were Gavin gave his life to save Domingo's as an act of loyalty.
But that's Bull
The truth is Domingo is a coward and he's just taking all the credit. I know it, he knows it, and the other bodyguards know it too. They are just a bunch of pussíes.
A month after it had happened Domingo's Beta, Beta Jake, had a sit down with me and said that I deserve to know what had happened.
Jake explained that Alpha Knight had threatened the pack and had repeatedly said he was going to burn the pack to ashes.
He said that all the choices he gave Domingo were either to give him land or give him death. He also said that Gavin had been the one who Alpha Knight had picked so Gavin had stayed behind and the rest of the expedition left.
They didn't know that Gavin had truly died until I verbally attacked them in the foyer. Jake said they had their doubts.
Bull.
They knew full well what was going to happen. They're cowards and no level of apologising could make up for what had happened.
In an attempt to distract myself from Gavin's death I drowned myself in work. My main job was being a warrior, that included training everyday and fighting for my pack whenever necessary.
But after I finally left my room I did so much more.
I would join border patrol and take down every rouge I catch sent of.
I help train the young so they could become ruthless warriors.I would even do solo missions to track down and take down rouges that had snuck into our territory.
I had become ruthless and everyone learned not to mess with me.
Even if I was training the warriors to be I would make sure that if they made a mistake, no matter how small, I would show them a taste of what would happen on the battlefield.
Like what I was doing right now. To John, one of the many good for nothing runts of the litter.
...
BAM
His body suddenly hit the trunk of the tree I had thrown him at.
"I told you not to lower your damn hands!" I growled at him.
"I'm s-sorry... I'll remember n-next time." His voice so shaken I could barely understand what he was saying.
"THERE IS NO "NEXT TIME" IN THE REAL WORLD JOHN"
I huffed and looked at the rest of the idiots that somehow ended up in my class. I had told Lexi's assistant that I'm only training advanced warriors not some runts straight out of school.
"ALL OF YOU WANT TO BE WARRIORS?" They all nodded their heads, some still wide eyed.
"THEN LOOK THE PART YOU IDIOTS! NOW SOMEONE HELP JOHN UP AND COOL DOWN WITH ONE HUNDRED FIFTY LAPS AROUND THE LAKE!" One of them quickly went to John and the rest shifted.
"AND IF I SEE ANYONE START TO SLOW DOWN FOR ANY REASON I'M PUTTING ANOTHER DENT IN THAT TREE" I screamed at them pointing at the tree that I had thrown John at.
As all of the sped away I heard a voice behind me.
"You should go easy on them, they're still kids you know, not full fledged warriors."
I turned to face Lexi arching my eyebrow as I looked at her sternly."Says the one who put them here. I told Jessi I didn't want any beginners."
"They're not beginners Elizabeth, they have been fighting all their life"
I scoffed at her
"Well they haven't been fighting hard enough. They're still weak and I don't want the future warriors of this pack to be as cowardly as your mate." I said as I turned to go.
"Oh and Lexi, don't tell me how to run my class." I shifted then ran towards the lake to fulfil my promise to those who were slowing down.
