Ch.4 Lovers Quarrel

Everyone has a facade for one reason or another.

Maybe someone used theirs to climb the social ladder, or to keep two lovers at the same time.

My reason for a facade is honestly really simple. Try and guess.

Murder.

You see I believe in "Do onto others as they have done to you."

And Alpha Knight has killed. So I too shall kill.

I am sitting on a windowsill on the third floor of the pack house reading To Kill a Mockingbird. Listening to Domingo and Lexi argue about this year's Alpha meet

The door to the Alpha's office opens an Lexi comes out fuming. I chuckled at the sight of a woman twelve weeks pregnant yelling at big bad Alpha

The meet is coming up and Lexi doesn't think it's a good idea for Domingo to go. She thinks it could be dangerous.

Domingo on the other hand doesn't want to act like the scared little mutt he is and wants to show that he is not afraid of the Knight pack.

Usually I wouldn't care who wins but this time is different. I want to go. If Alpha Knight does show up I could just kill him in the meet. Or I could follow...

"What are you looking at?" Lexi growls.

"Oh nothing, just reading" I respond turning the page.

She huffs and storms off.

Domingo then steps out of the office and looks around.

" What are you looking for?" I ask

" Jake, have you seen him around I need to make some arrangements, the date for the meet is set a week from Friday and I want him to make a list of people that are coming with me"

"Ooh, so you are going to get some bodyguards to accompany you so they can be offered up as a sacrifice, got it I will relay the message." I say dramatically.

"Ok just stop it wasn't my fault what happened" he says

"Just keep telling yourself that Alpha" I say sarcastically as I get up and Pat his shoulder as I pass by him. I can feel his gaze burning into the back of my skull as I make my way to the elevator with a wicked smile plastered on my face as I think of all the ways I could carve out Alpha Knight's heart.
