My back is heating
The scorching sun is burning
Of course, it's summer

The brilliant blue,
Is how the sky looks today
I close my brown eyes

Red leaves are falling
Do you not agree with me?
They majestically fall

Blues, greens, and yellows
Are on a mighty peacock
They perfectly blend
AN: You probably thought that those were very stupid poems. Haikus are a Japanese type of poem. They have only three lines per stanza. They have a syllable pattern of 5, 7, 5.
