My back is heating
The scorching sun is burning
Of course, it's summerHaiku #2
The brilliant blue,
Is how the sky looks today
I close my brown eyesHaiku #3
Red leaves are falling
Do you not agree with me?

Blues, greens, and yellows
Are on a mighty peacock
They perfectly blendAN: You probably thought that those were very stupid poems. Haikus are a Japanese type of poem. They have only three lines per stanza. They have a syllable pattern of 5, 7, 5.
