Chase Everett
I saw her again. She was there with the other new girl, a wolf too. Her name was Eleanor, I think.
She was dressed in jeans and a plain shirt. Even the simplicity of her choice of clothing made her beautiful.
Darren was by my side, growling. He just scented his female. His mate.
"Eleanor," he called out. It was voiced out sadly, in torment.
His mate's eyes briefly assessed him before going back to the grey eyed beauty who stared at me with a raised brow. I gulped at the intensity. She reverted her gaze to my cousin and then smiled tauntingly.
I walked with Darren towards them. Darren was a true alpha, head held high and aura demanding to be seen, to be bowed down to. "I apologize."
Dominant pric - what?
Darren never apologized for shit. He's an alpha. They never say they're sorry.
But I guess when it comes to their mates, they would bow down anyone. It was her that made him to do this. I knew it blew his ego to apologize to his enemy.
"For what, mutt?" Her sultry voice shook me to the core. It was icy but soothing at the same time. Darren's fist turned white as he shook.
"For what happened yesterday."
All I heard about yesterday's fight was that his mate and him got into an argument and one stepped in, crossing the line. Her name is Elizabeth Falkov.
Elizabeth smiled. A sinister one. It was both dangerous and extremely sexy. Eleanor's eyes glazed as if she was mind linking someone. She nodded politely.
"Hurt her and I will have your head." Her canines elongated as she bared her fangs at him. Her eyes turning onyx black with a tinge of red.
Vampire.
Darren quaked at the disrespect. She's not the only who has a thing for respect. He was controlling himself for his mate and her life.
"Let us chat, mate."
Eleanor smiled at him politely, while Darren stared at her lips in awe. I could feel his wolf wagging his tail at that.
"I'll be back, Madam." She bowed to her master. Elizabeth, no matter how cold she seems to be, had a soft spot for her. I could tell.
"Come on, pup."Eleanor ordered making my friend growl lowly but comply anyway. They walked side by side to the forest.
Elizabeth stared at the two retreating figures then turned to me. She hummed as she glanced at me. "Chase Everett." I spoke up and held my hand up for a shake.
"Elizabeth Falkov." She gripped mine with hers. I was startled by the coolness of it but gripped it back.
"You're not scared of me." She smirked.
"No, not-"
Then our hands were slapped away as I was pushed back. Elizabeth chuckled, the sound pleasing my ears. "Oh, another wolf?"
"Stay away from him, leech." Natalie snarled at her. She cupped my face while checking for injuries on my neck and wrists. "She didn't hurt you, did she?"
I shook my head and smiled at her. Nat glared at Elizabeth.
"You want to play?" She laughed. I mentally slapped myself for thinking that it sounded beautiful.
"I'll kill you-" I gently grabbed Natalie's hands as I turned her to face me. "Nat, stop. Let's go, okay?"
She buried her face on my neck and sighed in content. I dragged her away from the vampire once she was done.
"Bye, Elizabeth."

I sat back as the teacher started discussing. Ir was art time, definitely my favorite subject. The door opened as Elizabeth came in. Sir. Eric told her to introduce herself and sit on the chair in front of me.
She did as what was told and stared outside the window. I could tell that she was bored but was attentive.
"I'll give you the whole month to draw your portrait. It doesn't have to be perfect. Just draw your favorite person. Significant other perhaps?"
I smiled at that. I loved drawing.
"Start now."
I put my sketch pad out from my backpack and put it on the desk. Natalie held my arm closely and leaned her head on my shoulder. "Nat?"
"I'll draw you then," she smiled. Her strawberry blonde hair was in a bun and her baby blue eyes were looking at me expectantly.
Did she want something from me?
I could only nod as I pried her hands away and brainstormed over what to draw. Or who.
"Who are you drawing? The Alpha? Auntie, perhaps?"
I shrugged. I only drew when I felt like it or when I'm engrossed on the subject. While closing my eyes, I imagined who I'll be sketching.
The first thing that popped were grey eyes. Grey eyes framed with long and thick lashes. On top were perfectly arched eyebrows. Below them were high cheekbones, a straight nose and pouty lips that were tinted red.
Jet black hair flowed down a petite but firm frame with a white button down over it. Two buttons were undone. You could see the creamy and smooth complexion and the shape of her supple bre-
I snapped out of my thoughts. This was very wrong. I just imagined another woman while my mate was clinging on to me. "Fuck."
"Chase?" Natalie asked, concerned.
"Nothing."
