Another huge thank you to my friend Flutterquake for the drawing above! Give her a follow, yeah?

There was this beautiful girl that I'd seen all over town. Her nose was always in a book. Her dark hair covered her face. She was by far the most amazing girl I'd ever seen, but I hadn't mustered the courage to talk to her. I had realized I probably wouldn't talk to her as the week came to a close, and Harry and I were playing volleyball our last day at Virginia Beach. Then, out of the corner of my eye, I saw her. She was wearing a light green dress and sunglasses that took up most of her face, but I knew it was the girl I'd seen around. A smile fluttered on my face when everything around me faded out around her, and I panicked as I realized the volleyball was flying towards me. I hit it quickly, and with my skills, it flew and hit the girl directly in the face.

"Oh my god, what have I done..." I ran over, looking at her shocked face. "I'm so sorry, I can carry you to the lifeguard station if you want!" I exclaimed, but her expression hardened into a murderous glance. If looks could kill, I'd have fallen to the sand beneath me. "At least-let me buy you ice cream." She raised her eyebrow as I held out my hand to help her up. "To make it up to you?" She huffed, taking my hand and allowing me to help her.

She brushed the sand off of her dress and straightened it, before saying, "Fine."
