All alone in a dark cavern, a young dragon dwells.
'Mother? Father? Where are you? Why did you leave me?' He whined.
A cool breeze blew across his scales, sending a shiver through his bones. He tried to blow fire, just a little one, but ended up burning a rock.
'It's cold.' He shivered.
He started walking alone the rocky path, trying to find a place to rest. The wind picked up.
'Maybe I should fly.' He started flapping his wings.
Up he rose, letting the wind carry him up, through the gap and towards a forest.
'There might be some shelter there.' He said, landing down on the grassy floor.
He walked around, looking for any shelter from the wind.
'Nothing. Guess I'll try fire again.'
He gathered up some breath, and blew out fire. It hit the ground, but spread to the trees, burning everything it touched.
'Oh no. How do I stop this!'
He heard some noises coming up the hill towards the forest.
'What's happened?'
'Can't you see. Some idiot started a fire.'
'But the wind will make it stronger.'
'I say it was a dragon that's done this.'
'Don't be stupid. Dragons don't exist. I tell ya it was some idiot from the west.' 'Believe what you want to believe. We have to stop this fire before it reaches the village.'
The voices got nearer.
'I've got to get out of here.'
The young dragon started dashing through the forest, wings raised, ready to fly.
'Here we go.' Flap, flap.
'Look there!'
'What ya pointing at?'
'It's, it's...'
'Spit it out.'
'It's a dragon!'
'Dragon? Where?'
The young dragon rose through the trees, flying away towards the mountains.
'Well I'll be darned. It really is a dragon.'
'I told ya dragons existed.'
Flap, flap. 'Almost there.'
The dragon flew to the mountains, landing on the snowy peak.
'This should be far enough. But I can't stop now. I know. I should go find some more of my kind!'
He readied his wings and took off.

'Nothing but trees and stone. Should I look in higher places? Or lower?'
The young dragon swooped down low, looking for any traces of dragons. 'Help!'
'What? Who's that?'
'Help!'
'There it is again. But where's it coming from?'
'Please help me! My wing! It's trapped under some rocks! Please, help! Anyone!'
The dragon looked around, finding another cavern.
'Down here! Please help me!'
He swooped down, searching for the voice.
'Over here!' The voice called.
'I'm coming!' He landed, face to face with another dragon.
'Can you please help me? My wing is trapped.'
The young dragon looked over at the wing. He started flying, grabbing the stones that had caught the wing. 'Thank you. I was just flying around up there when these stones just fell on top of me.'
'Oh. Well, just glad you're ok. I've been looking for another dragon.'
'Really?! Me too. My name's Miya. What's yours?'
'Well. I don't actually know my name. My parents left me, so I never knew.' 'Oh. Umm. Hmm. Let's call you... Sliver. You know, cause your scales are sliver.'
'I, I like it. Ok. My name's Sliver,'
The two dragons smiled.
'Now then. Let's fly out of here.' Silver said.
'Yeah. And let's find some more dragons!'
'Right!'
