Silver and Miya had been flying for a few days through blizzards and hail, when they finally reached their destination.
'We're finally here...' Miya sighed in relief as they landed.
'Yeah... that was too much flying...' Silver agreed, collapsing on the snowy ground in front of a mountain.
They rested there for a few minutes before finally walking off. They clawed their way up the mountain side, avoiding any boulders of falling snow.
'How much further do we have to go?' Miya asked as the snow melted on her black scales.
'Not sure. But, it should be up here.' Silver replied, shaking snow from his face.
They climbed and climbed, until they reached the top of the mountain. They stretched there legs and rested on the ground.
'We have to keep going.' Silver panted, trying to stand up before collapsing.
'I know that,' Miya said. 'But, we haven't had enough time to rest. My wings feel like their dead and my legs are killing me.'
'You have a point. We'll sleep for a bit. But after, we're heading up straight.' Silver replied, closing his eyes.
Miya closed her eyes as well, allowing sleep to take over.

They woke up to a loud screeching noise.
'W-what was that?!' Silver stuttered, standing up and looking around frantically.
'I don't know! But we have to go!' Miya replied, stretching out her wings and taking flight.
'I'm not leaving! Not now!' Silver argued, staying planted on the ground.
'We can't argue about this! We don't know what the noise was or where I came from! But my senses are telling me to leave,' Miya replied. 'We can't stay here any longer.'
'I'm not going!' Silver yelled. 'You can go if you want to. But I'm staying. I have to find the nest to find the gem! Otherwise, I will die!'
Silence fell over them. Snow started falling down again, harder then before. It turned into a blizzard, pushing Miya away into the sky.
'MIYA!!!' Silver yelled, but to no avail as she was long gone. 'No. NO! Why did this have to happen! She's gone, and it's all my fault...'
Silver dropped to his belly as the blizzard raged on. Through the snow, a cry was heard. Silver lifted his head as it sounded again.
'What is that...' he murmured, getting up and walking towards the sound.
Careful as to not lose his way, Silver clawed over to what seemed to be the edge of the mountain. The cry was heard once more as wind started gushing up the mountain's side. Silver stubbled back as coloured silhouette's flew up, towards a bigger mountain not far off.
'Wow...' Silver breathed, as the blizzard died down to reveal the mountain, and the dragons nest with it...
