The two dragons flew away from the temple, heading towards the cold region up North.
'Hey, Silver?' Miya asked.
'Yeah? What's the matter?'
'Well. Why are we going to the cold region first? We need the gem, don't we?'
'We do. But. I was hoping to find some clues up there.'
'Oh, that makes more sense. This scroll really doesn't tell us anything except that someone is guarding the gem.' Miya sighed at the thought.
'You're right about that.' Silver sighed.
They flew for about 7 hours before the winds started getting colder.
'Silver!'
'Where are you Miya!'
A swift blizzard blew, both dragons loosing sight of one another.
'Miya! Where are you! If you can hear me, come to my voice!'
'Silver! Let's land! That may help!'
'Good idea!'
The wind blew stronger now as both dragons landed.
'Come to my voice!' Silver yelled, but it was drowned out by the raging winds. "Oh no. What'll we do?!" Silver thought to himself.
Suddenly, in the corner of his eye, he noticed some lantern.
"Maybe Miya went down here."
He started to follow the trail, going down into a cave. Once inside, he shook the frost from his wings and ventured in farther.
'Miya! Are you down here?!' He called out. No answer.
He went in farther, following the lanterns.

'Silver! Where are you!' Miya's voice was cut out as the wind roared on.
She looked around, trying to find anything that could get her out of this blizzard.
"Where could he be?"
She looked in every direction, but found nothing but snow.
"What's that?"
She looked off in the distance to see some light, and a shadowy figure following them.
'Silver? Silver! Is that you?!' Miya called out.
The figure kept moving, not turning back.
"Hmm. Maybe I should follow."
She followed along, chasing after the figure. Not long after, she lost sight of the shadow.
'Oh no. Where have they gone now?' She whimpered.
The lights stayed, but the ones behind her where going out quick. She hurried along, following the remaining lights. She went along until she was inside a cave.
'Miya! Are you down here?!' A voice called.
'Silver! I'm up here!'
There was no reply. The wind blew harder now, blowing on her tail.
'I better move in. To cold out there.'
She walked in, following the trail of lights.

Silver walked down the path, looking around just in case something or someone was watching. He walked and walked until he came across two paths.
'Oh great. Just great. Now which way do I go?'
Both paths had lights going down them, so it was hard to pick. They looked exactly the same.
'Chances are that Miya came down here, but, in front or behind?'
Grrrrrrrrr
'W-what was that?' Silver stuttered.
Grrrrrrrr
'It's coming from the... left? Guess that means I'm going right.'
He walked down the right path, not hearing that sound again.
"Just hope Miya's here somewhere."

'Silver! Where did he go?'
Miya walked down the path, hoping to see silver.
Grrrrrrrr
'T-that sound. Is that a, a monster?!'
Grrrrrrrrrrrrr
"It's coming from the right. Then I'll take left."
She walked down, taking slow steps.
"Silver. I'm on my way."

Silver started picking up pace as the stone beneath his feet started sloping down. The cave system turned, so he followed.
Grrrrrrrrr
'W-what?! I though it was in the other cave. I should turn back.'
He turned around but saw the lights had gone out.
'Oh no.'
He tried to dig his claws into the rock, but he slid down farther.
'Crap.'
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
The sound got closer. Silver slid down further, getting closer to the noise. He braced himself for attack.
As he slid down, he came to a flat surface, but, face to face with glowing red eyes.

'Silver!' Miya called.
No answer.
'Could of sworn that he'd be down here. Oh well.'
The ground below her started to slope down. She tried to stop sliding down, but couldn't. Rocks slipped under her claws and so she fell further down.
'Ahhh. Crap. I'm going down fast.'
Miya 's tail swished rapidly as she continued going down.
Grrrrr
'What the?'
Grrrrrrrrrrr
'B-but it was in the other side. I-I heard it. How is it in here?'
She came to a stop as the ground levelled out. But she wasn't alone. She looked up, face to face with blood red eyes, starting at her through the darkness.

'AAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'
