You woke up to your phone ringing. You forced yourself to answer it without looking at the caller ID. "Hello?" you said in your morning voice.
"Hey! Were you sleeping?" recognizing the Birmingham accent. "Kinda..." you answered. "Oh.. Sorry..." Brad apologize. "No, it's fine! What's up?" you said trying to be more awake.
"I tried texting you but you weren't answering so I tried calling. Could you come down to Starbucks in maybe an hour?" he asked. "Umm... Yea sure! See you there!" you agreed. "Alright! See you soon!" he replied.
You checked the time and it was already noon. You got ready and was out by 12:50. You got there 5 minutes early so you bought some coffee to wake you up a bit. Then Brad came in looking a little nervous. Wonder why?
You guys greeted each other and he went to get some coffee as well. "So what did you need to tell me?" you asked. "Well.. I wanted to spend the day.. Just the two of us!" he answered smiling. "Okay! What are we doing today?" you asked excitedly. "I thought we should go to the theme park and... go to a concert tonight" he said. "Sounds fun!" you replied. Then you guys talked for a bit.
After Starbucks you guys went to the theme park. You and Brad rode a lot of roller coasters and and when you guys played some games, he would give you the prize. Now you thought you might be really falling for him but still unsure. After that, you guys ate and then were on your way to the concert.
"Which concert are we going to?" you asked wanting to know. "The 1975." he answered. You were so excited because they were one of your favourite bands. They were amazing! When they sang The City, it reminded you of the amazing view and what Brad said to you.
Today was perfect! Brad walked you home. "I had fun today!" you said. "Me too! We should do this again sometime!" he said. "Yea we should!" you replied blushing. You said your goodnights. When you were about to go separate ways, you guys locked eyes. Right then, he leaned in and kissed you.
