I woke up early while my mother prepared porridge. This was the first good meal we had in weeks. Bonniella, my younger sister was married out yesterday to an average man. He would send us some money today. I hoped our greedy,selfish parents would use the money to our benefit rather than suffer us. "Rebekah! Get out of the house and get some food " Mama said rudely. Without question, I carried the basket, wore my coat and off I was to the market. I arrived at the market, and while buying goods noticed everyone bowing and cowering. I wondered why. As I payed and turned to leave, I stumbled upon a leg. I fell and all the goods were wasted on the floor.I knelt to pick them one by one not caring who I had hit. As I turned to go my pink eyes met with eclipse-dark eyes,I was stunned,I was able to mutter a "hello"when he spoke"who are you?" He asked in a deep voice.I was suprised at his composure,but he looked so arrogant. I mumbled my name "Re-be-kah", he nodded,then he pointed, gesturing to my basket "what are those ?"he asked."My family's break fast" I answered bravely. He answered impressed, and that made me more brave,I didn't know why. He then asked a very strange question"you're Bonniella's elder sister right ?" I was confused ,then I remembered,he was the best man at Richard's wedding with Bonnie. When I remembered, I couldn't help but laugh. It stunned him, he actually expected me to bow. I laughed and greeted him GOODBYE!
