flash back

Jake's pov

Oh Alyssa told you the story of how we met from the moment I saw her I was hooked. I knew I would do anything to protect her so I was it's my turn to explain it

~flash back~ 

I had been at the park all day so had a couple other people but they came and went except for a group of punk teen boys and this girl but I didn't see much of her. about the time I was leaving I passed by the boys surrounding the little girl and I saw the fear in her eyes her pretty blue eyes and I knew I needed to protect her from anyone and anything. so as they got closer to her I spoke up

"leave the girl alone"  I say and they turn to me and laugh for only a second turning around back to her and that just pissed me off so I warned"  like my mom says you have to the count of three or you'll be sorry"

the leader didn't like my threat and turned around chuckling " why don't we teach you to shut up" he said and they launched at me

the blows stung. but moments later I caught a glance at the girl she was curled up crying and shaking ,and I suddenly became stronger than I thought I could be because I fought them of I fought the teens off And they ran like hell from me.

when they cleared away I noticed the girl  asleep where she was earlier and I walked over afraid they hurt her but she was left unharmed and I tried to wake her up but she just wrapped her arms around my neck and I knew where to take her so I picked her up and she nuzzles her face into my neck wrapping her arms tightly around it. then I carried her home a good mile walk to her house I don't know how or why I knew where she lived but I did and when her mom opened the door the look on her face surprised I carried her up to bed explained what happened and then left.

the next day I went to her house again and when the door opened and she saw me she tackled me and I just hugged her tight and I was hooked I loved her from that moment on
