"So, if I get this right, Tom Hemsworth, the cutest guy in this school is coming to your house tonight? And he's staying for dinner?" Chloe screeches.
"It's just for some school work. Nothing special," I try to tone her down. "I mean, sure, when we're done early we can watch a movie or something but-" Chloe is chreeching again.
"Chloe, jesus, I know It's exciting but shut the hell up. Before you know it he knows we're talking about him." Regina is moody as usual. I roll my eyes.
"Can you both just shut up about it?" I say kind of annoyed. "He's late anyway, so we probably won't get the chance to watch a movie anyway."
Just when I want to switch subject I see Tom walking toward me. I quickly grab my chemistry book and close my locker. Both Chloe as Regina look at me with an excited look on their face and I poke both of them right before I greet Tom.
"Hye Tom! Are you ready to go?" I smile.
"I am. Goodevening ladies," he greeted Regina and Chloe. "Are you ready to leave, Jessy?" He smiled. He smiled that gorgeous smile. His beautiful blue eyes just enchanted me. I feel someone poking me right between my ribs and come back to senses. I look up at Tom.
"Yes, I'm ready." I turn around and hug my friends.
"Have fun," Chloe chuckled in my ear.
"We have to hurry to catch the bus. I normally take the 243 but we already missed that one and in a few minutes the 245 should come. We should be able to make that one," I start ambeling.
"Yeah sorry about that. I needed to finish something up. I'm really sorry for being late," he mumbled.
We have to run but make it in time for the bus. I scan my card. Tom fished his phone out of his pocket and started to type something in.
"Do you have card?" I ask him.
"No, but I'll pay by text. It's not a problem." He looks so akward just standing there and yet, he's the hottest guy I've ever seen.
"No, don't bother. It's cheaper if I just scan my card instead of you texting," I offer.
"You really don't have to I can-" The beep of the transaction with my card cuts him off.
"Too late," I say with a big smile.
"I'll pay you next time." He waits for me to take a seat and sits next to me. The seats are so small our shoulders are touching. No, my shoulder is touching his arm because he's too damn tall! It's not like he sits next to me because he wants touch me because I see him from the corner of my eye, trying to give some space. He's such a gentleman.
"If you buy me a drink it's the same," I joke, glacing over to him in from the corner of my eye again.
"Fine by me." I look over at him and his friendly blue eyes meet mine. "Where do we need to get of?"
"Euhm... I mean, at the next stop. From there we have to walk half a block," I stumble over my words.
"I have to get of at that same stop when I'm by bus. Which bus do you usually take?" he asks with his beautiful, charming smile.
"In the morning I take the 242 it's the earliest one. I don't like taking one later. It's always so crowded," I stop before I begin rambling again.
"If you're not tired of me yet by the end of the evening, maybe we can go to school together?" he asks shyly.
"Me? Getting tired of you? Never in my life!" I can't believe that I just said that. "I mean... You're a cool guy. It would be fun to-"
The driver taking a sharp turn to the left catches me off guard and I smack with my face into Tom's chest. In a reflex he puts arms around me. We're both a bit caught off guard. I can tell. I quickly recover though and free myself from his warm, strong arms and sit straight up.
