The sound of the school bell pierced my ear as I made my way through my English class, I miss Madison
My best friend who is a year older than me graduated last year, school was hell for me but Maddie made it quite fun
I entered the class, Mrs Florence was going through her cat album, that woman's obsession with cats was legendary.
"good morning Mrs Florence"i greeted,she didn't even look up,guess she's too busy
I made my way through the back seat, I loved sitting at the front seat with Maddie but since she's not here there's no point.
Mrs Florence has bad sense of fashion,she doesn't know how to match colours,right Now she's wearing a lace Red top and a green skirt, bad combo trust me,she's actually pretty but her makeup doesn't help she doesn't know how to do it but she still tries maybe one day I could give her tutorials?
"look" Cassie whispered to her brunette friend ,i think her name is Cassie not sure. I looked up and saw Mason,Mason Anderson,football captain,legendary hot boy,jock of all time. I could continue
Lost in thought,he greeted Mrs Florence and not to my surprise she answered,Mason has this sort of charm,i don't blame her, he's just irresistable.
He took of his team jacket with Anderson inscribed on its back, hanged it on the chair and sat down, there was one thing that made Mason different from other jocks,he's lack of a girl or the fact that he never paid attention to all the girls that threw themselves to him.
Mason has never dated a girl before,he doesn't sleep around with girls like the other jocks,he was just different,very serious with his school and football.
With Mason on the football team I can proudly say that the Eagles have never lost a game before,we were the best in the state,that was one thing Hamilton college could boast about,their football team.
Mrs Florence made her way to the front of the class,she gave each of us a copy of Romeo and Juliet,looks like we're starting with it. She started to talk about their love life blablabla
I turned my face to Mason, Lord this boy is hot,"miss hunter,miss hunter" I heard Mrs Florence call
oh my God I was lost in thought,"miss hunter when your done daydreaming about Mason I'll love you to answer my question" she said, the whole class was starring and I didn't even get her question.
They were laughing at me, I turned my face to Mason and he winked at me with a smile
"yes ma'am, could you please repeat the question" I said shyly,"OK phoebe,in your opinion did you think Juliet's love for Romeo would last"
Way too go, I wasn't even listening,"uhmm "I found it hard to find the right word
Ashley raised up Her hand, "miss Johnson would you like to answer this question for us?" Mrs Florence asked
" yes Mrs Florence I'll like you to pardon phoebe ,she would find it hard to have an opinion because she has never fallen in love or even had a boyfriend before"
Ashley said laughing,the whole class was laughing some were covering their mouth trying to hide their gestures,which was obvious
I felt ashamed,truly I have never had a boyfriend or even fallen in love,but how did she know? And why did she use it against me,day one and it's already gone like this I'm going to cry.
Luckily for me the bell rang, thank goodness, "do not forget to read chapter 2 as your assignment"Mrs Florence said as students made their way out of her class
I slammed my locker,i was in a bad mood because of what happened in English class today
"hey phoebe "Ashley said,could this day get any worse?, "hi","I just wanted to confirm if you've truly never had a boyfriend"
"no Ashley I have a boyfriend,he even attends this school" i said,God I was lying but it felt so goooddd
"really,whats his name? "she said with a grin, that girl she's so evil
"it's Mason" I murmured
"really,Mason Waters? " whatever Ashley is up to I swear I'll defeat her
"no, Mason Anderson" I said proudly and walked away
"wait what? Mason is your boyfriend",Ashley said
"Yup he is" I said happily
"it's a lie prove it"she said
"no Ashley I have nothing to prove to you" Now I was walking away as fast as I could until...
"Hey everybody!!listen up!!, Evelyn here has an announcement for you all" I heard that familiar voice of course it was Ashley who else would it be
"come on Evelyn tell them,tell everybody Mason Anderson is your boyfriend!!"
