I feel myself lift out of the water. But I'm not wet from the creek. In fact I'm dry as if I've haven't touched a drop of water. I slowly open my eyes. I'm speechless as I look at my surroundings. It's nothing but sunlight and the most beautiful clouds I've ever seen. I'm floating around the scenery. My soul is being pulled towards something I can't see. I soon see the biggest set of golden gates I've ever seen. As I apporoach them, the most beautiful women comes to greet me.

She has long curly red hair and a set of white wings. She has on a long white dress that covers her feet and legs. Almost giving the illusion that she doesn't have any. She gives me a toothy beautiful smile "Octavia Phillips?" She asks.

All I can do is nod. She reaches out and pulls me through the gates. And I mean trough the gates. It was like we were ghosts or something. Wait. Is this a dream? The last thing I remember I was at the creek with Anna and Emily. Then-

"WAIT." I pull my hand away from her. She turns to me, waiting  for me to speak. "Where in God's name am i? who are you? Where are my family?" She smiles and places a hand on my shoulder. "Don't worry child. You are not in any danger. Your family is home on your farm. Safe. My name is Melanie, welcome to heaven."

I look at her disbelief. In heaven? How can that be. I'm healthy, I don't understand. I shouldn't be here. "Are you saying I'm dead?" I ask her. All she does is nod her head. "That can't be. How did I die?!"

She hesitantly hands me a crystal ball. "With this you can see anything from your past life and watch over your loved ones. If you wish to see your death, just ask it to show you."
I look into the clear ball. It had a sort of glow to it. I look at her then back at the crystal. "Show me my death."

The crystal slowly brings an image of Emily and Anna looking at the creek in disbelief. "Octavia?" Anna shouts. A shiver in her voice. "Octavia come out of the water right now this is no longer funny!" Emily shouts. She sounds like she's about to cry.

"It's been over five minutes...Oh god...you don't think...?" Anna has tears in her eyes. Emily turns to her sister and pulls her out of the water. Anna falls to the ground crying. "Oh God help us Emily, Octavias dead." Emily grabs her sister and jerks her up. "Shut up Anna! She's not dead, remember? She went walking by herself. We have no idea where she went."

Anna looks at her in confusion. "But Emily-"
"Anna listen to Me. If we go back and tell them what really happen, we will be blamed for her death and will be hanged. Do you want to die too?!"

Anna shakes her head. Tears rolling down her eyes. "Then stick to my story, okay?! Your my sister. You have to be loyal to me. Understand? We don't know where Octavia is."
All Anna can do is nod. Emily lets out a deep breath. "Okay. Let's stay here and wait for our clothes to dry then we'll head back." Emily turns to where the shoes were, picks up my shoes into the water. The image fades away until the crystal is clear again.

"That good for nothing hussy left me to drown!" I say turning my attention back to Melanie. "I am afraid so." She says. "But death isn't that bad. You'll come to learn that."
I can't believe this. I trusted the both of them...what are my family gonna think? What is grandmother, grandfather, and Isaac gonna do without me. Wait. "Show me isaac!" I yell at the crystal. It shows me my brothers bedroom. Isaac is sleeping peacefully while my grandmother is bent over her bed crying and praying to God for good health to come to him. I feel a tear roll down my face as my family fades away from the ball.

"I-I can't stay here I need to back to earth. My grandmother, my grandfather, they need me. Isaac...needs me the most of all. I need to be there for him." Melanie shakes her head. "I'm sorry I can't allow that. Leaving heaven without proper authority is a sin. Right now, your not mentally able to leave yet. If you leave you'll be cast as a fallen Angel. Your soul will be cursed and you will feel everythingas a human does. Only death will never come for you. You will be a prisoner to earth until the end of time."

"I don't care okay? For the love of god my brother is sick. And if there is anyway I can help him, I'm goingto do it. He's older than me, but he's still too young to die." I turn to leave. Melanie stops me before I can do anything. "Even if you do fall sack down to earth, there's no guarantee you'll fall back to your home. You could fall into another state or even another country."

"I gotta try." I turn and run towards the gates. I hear Melanie yelling something I can't understand. But I'm not stopping this time. Nothing is going to stop me. I run through the gates and look down at the world below me."hold on Isaac I'm coming home."

In eight seconds of courage, I leap off the clouds. I fall, my back towards the earth. Every inch of my body starts to burn. All I can do is scream as it feels like my skin is on fire. Only I'm not on fire. I start to see bird feathers around me. Only they were angel wings. My wings!

They start to turn black as the white feathers before them peal off like tape and float away. As I near the ground, I notice where I'm about to land. The biggest mansion I've ever seen sets sea side under me. A sighn reads "whipstaff manor." Where am I landing..?

The pain increases as I near the ground again. I hit the ground hard, not far from whipstaff. I'm once again met with darkness. And here I stay, asleep, for over hundred years.
