Fact #13: Extra-curriculars

I'm in 3 clubs and band. Like I've already mentioned in previous chapters, I've been in band for 3.5 years and plan to continue it until I graduate. The other 3 clubs I'm in are BETA, JFOL, and HOSA. BETA is basically an honors program where you have to have a certain GPA to get in. We do a lot of community service projects. JFOL stands for Junior Friends Of the Library. It's based on getting community service hours for college applications, graduation, and scholarships. Last but not least, HOSA is the Health Occupational Students of America. We have a competition where we compete in health-related events on January 27th.
I also do extra curriculars at school like Science Fair (District competition was this past Thursday 1/11), our school Talent Show hosted by another club I'm not currently in called FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), the North Florida Honor Band (You have to be in a band class to audition for it), and the Solo and Ensemble festival which is where you learn a piece and perform it for a judge and they rate your performance.
