My favorite teachers of all time are Mr. Ulmer (8th grade Algebra 1) and Mr. Stroud (6th grade Math). I have looked up to both of them since I was a 5th grader. Both of them are like a friend and a teacher to me. Mr. Stroud was always there to cheer me up and tell me I was doing great whenever I needed someone to be there. He didn't treat me like everyone else. He told me what I wanted to hear, which was basically the opposite of what everyone else told me. He gave everyone the respect they earned. He had expectations for us, but he didn't leave us on our own to reach them. He would always make sure every single student understood everything he was teaching.

Anyways, onto Mr. Ulmer now. He basically gave a lesson on Algebra, History, Science, and English all in one day. He also gave respect if his students deserved it. He was always there if anyone needed help or just needed someone to talk to. He was funny, kind, creative, weird, inspiring, and admirable. He mostly inspired me to leave my mark on the world and leave the world better than I found it. I have left my mark on the middle school I graduated from last year. I was inspired by him to do many great things and will continue to do so.
