My biggest learning experience is most likely being in band. It has taught me leadership, communication, teamwork, and many other skills. I have built many friendships with people who not only play the same instrument as I do, but also different instruments. Band may also help you get jobs and look better on college applications. Health programs actually pick the band kids, not the biology and science geeks/nerds.
