chapter one

Hikaru Hinata's POV

I set down the last box into my new apartment and i look out the window and I wave to the truck driver indicating that was the last box.

I sigh happily and I sit down on the couch, looking at my new home.

I open up my laptop and I got to the collage web page and search about the information about it.

I go to my profile and I look over my schedule and I see on the bottom that I can get extra credit if I work as an intern for a company.

I click on it and I lightly gasp as I see that the elementia corp. One of the biggest companies in the world is looking for workers.

I've never clicked on something so fast in my life, I fill out the request and set up the date for the interview.

'A history in working for on of the biggest companies in the world will be amazing for my resumè.

I lean back and sigh, I smile as I look back at what my mother said to me before I left...

*back flash*

"You will never make it there Hikaru, can you think about your family just once?  Just stay here and take over the family business, that is what you want right??  To own your own business??"

*flash back ended*

"I'll show her... " I say to myself as I get up and start unboxing all of my things.

Once I get everything done it's just about midnight and after all that moving and arranging I slowly fall asleep leaning against a box on the floor.

*time skip to next day*

I waking up slowly, groaning from the pain in my back and neck.

As I stand up I hear the cracking of my bones and I sigh. I rub the sleep from my eyes and I grab a jacket and put it on before I walk out the door and walk down to the cafe almost right next to my apartment.

I open the door and look around to only see a few people inside and I hear the kind greetings of a girl behind the counter.

"Hey there sir! Welcome!" She says, I smile lightly at how upbeat she is this early in the morning and I say hello back and I take an order.

"Ok sir, than you for ordering! I will bring it to you shortly"

I node and walk over to an empty table near the window and I look out at the city, watching how even so early in the morning people are running to get to work.

I go deep into thought and was only pulled back by hearing something being set down on the table.

"H-heres your coffee sir" she says as she quickly walks away. I look at her retreating form and wonder to myself as to why she was acting like that until I see on the plate where my coffee was is a little note with numbers on it.

I blush realizing that it was her phone number, I look back up and see her peeping at me from the window in the door going into the kitchen, I smile and I pick up the paper and take out my phone and I put the number into the contacts.

I finish up my coffee and I put down my payment and I set down a tip too and I walk out, sending her a quick thank you through text.

I sigh happily and mutter to myself

            "I'm gonna make it"
