New School!

Once the other siblings had departed from the apartment, it gave Kuro time to look at the nearest schools that would fit his children. It wasn't easy to say the least, some schools either didn't take weird children or were picky on the matter. It disgusted him, how people are picky on what people look like. Vampires and Half vampires have feelings too, doesn't that mean they're just as human as the rest of them?

Sighing, Kuro clicks on a school close by Mahiru's high school. It seemed perfect in a way, nodding he turns to Mahiru - who is reading beside him with his children playing quietly by their feet on the sofa- "Mahiru, which school did you go to when you were a kid?" Kuro asked, he almost didn't want to ask, afraid that Mahiru would think about the bad times that happened within his childhood. "Hm? It's the one you have on the screen, why?" Mahiru looked over, tilting his head in curiousity. "I want my kids to be in the school that would be right for them, how was it when you were there?" Kuro replied honestly, glancing to the twins before looking back at his Eve. "Hm...I guess it was pretty fun? I didn't pay much attention to it, but I believe it'll be good for them. After all, you are going to be there for them." Mahiru smiled, making Kuro duck his head back to the screen. That smile still got to him no matter what. His Eve was right though, no matter what school he picks, he's going to be working with the staff anyways. "Alright, then it's settled, these two nutcases are going to your old school then." Kuro cracks a small smile at the thought, imagining his twins in bookbags and clothes that were too cute on them. He honestly didn't think he'd get this far in his immortal life, but he is glad he never tried to end himself in that alleyway.

Next day went pretty well, he already took his kids shopping for school supplies and new clothes. Tomorrow, he would be taking them to their new school for them to make new friends. Of course, they will have their aunt and uncles, but having friends outside of their family is how their human life could blossom. Kuro wanted them to live normally, that's all he wants for them.

"Nii-san, the kids are being sent off to school, huh?" Lily smiled at him.

Oh yeah, he was so lost in thought that he forgot he was out with Lily, Misono and his Eve at the mansion. "Huh..? Ah, yeah. I don't want them to have the same childhood we went though, so it's best to make them believe they are human and not half-breeds like I told them." Kuro explained, sipping his tea beside Mahiru -who keeps grinning at him like a proud mother-.

"I see, I agree. That is the best path for them to take." Lily agrees, nodding at the decision. "You're going to be with them due to long distance situations, right? How are you going to explain that?" Misono asked, which was a good question. He didn't think of his cover up story yet. "Shit....Good question. I didn't come up with anything for that." Kuro admitted, sighing in defeat as he sat down his cup of tea on the coffee table, wracking his brain for a suitable story to why he wants to work there until his children graduate from the school itself. "You can tell the staff that they want you there because of their trust of people? You see how they are." Misono suggests with a confident smile. It was a good idea.

"Misono's right. They do have an awfully cautious personality. They only interact with those you know or they know. It would be a good cover story Kuro." Mahiru says, getting the cat's attention back on him once again. "I know. Seems fair." Kuro agrees, nodding at the story that he can peice together from there. It'll be perfectly planned before their school starts. "Then it is settled, is it not? Now relax Sloth, being a full-time Father must be tiresome." Misono demands, lifting his tea cup in the air as a toast. Drawing the others to do the same in celebration for the Twin's first day as normal humans starting tomorrow.

[A/N]: Okay I was honestly going to end this on that last chapter but didn't decide it good enough it seems. But sadly, this fic is coming up to it's closing point since it seems their life is already perfect and so very humble~ So I might end it at an epilogue of the twins all grown-up at maybe 10-11 years old following in their parent's shoes, ridding the jin from the streets or something; idk yet. ANYWAYS, here you go Gil ! Short but fluffy ~
