Holly and Reggie started to get closer over time went on; they began to connect in ways that neither one of them ever expected. so when it came out that Holly and Dylan were sleeping together, not only crushed Natalie, but it also crushed Reggie. Although, Dylan continued to deny that it ever happened, which only infuriated Holly.
It was about to be the new year, and Holly didn't want to enter it with a lie, so she told Reggie before the two of them began official. but obviously he didn't want to hear about it because he was furious and told Natalie the first chance he got. The two of them were so pissed that they cut Holly and Dylan off, and Dylan cut off Holly, also including their 4-year old son, Jason. Suddenly, Holly became the bad person and Dylan pretty much could do no wrong because Natalie forgave him within hours, and nobody forgave Holly. Not ever.
Over the next few months, Holly moved on from the big fiasco between her and Dylan, and she began seeing some one new, but when Reggie found out, he wasn't very happy, but he couldn't say much since he was the one whom ended their so called relationship 4 months before, Holly wanted to move on with her life and not play into the mind games of toxic people around her. Holly deserved to be happy, and she was. Jake Mikaelson made her very happy.
