After The Party

As she pulled into Dylan's driveway, she turned off the car and got out. She walked up the drive to the backyard to see her four year old son. She smiled as she bent over and kissed his sweet little face before he ran back over to his dad and continued to play. Holly then looked around to see Reggie smoking a cigarette. Her heart began to flutter so she looked away and focused her attention on her sweet boy while he told her about his weekend as he held onto her hand, he led her up the back stairs of his father's house to where Natalie was with Jason's two year old brother, Lyle. 

She smiled politely at Natalie as well as Lyle while Jason gathered his things when she turned around seeing Reggie standing behind her. Holly felt her heart begin to flutter but she remained calm and smiled once again then walked over to make sure Jason was ready to go.

On her way to down the stairs to her car, Holly was stopped by Natalie with an envelop. Holly took the envelop with a confused look on her face as she turned back around to finished walking down the stairs. Once she made her way back to her car, she got in and started the svu back up. she could hear her 4 year old still crying, so she placed the envelop on her lap as she back out of Dylan's drive way and pulled over down the street. 

Turning her car off, she took her foot off the break and rested for brief moment as she opened the envelop, taking out the piece of paper, she read, "I know it's you, Cinderella. -Reg." Holly let out a slight, as she placed the piece of paper onto the set beside her then heard a knock on her drivers side window. As she looked up, she saw that it was from Reggie and gently bite her lower lip as she unbuckled her seat belt before getting out of her SUV. "How long have you know?" She asked him shutting the car door behind her. "I knew this morning when you dropped Jason off. I had a feeling." Reggie answered pulling Holly closer with his arm wrapped around her. "I couldn't stop thinking about that night." He added.

Holly continued biting her lower lip not knowing what to say. She has dreamt about this current moment for months, played how it would go over and over in her head, but now that it was here, she felt too nervous to say anything that she wanted too say. "Well Reggie, I guess the ball is in your court now." She said in a soft, sweet tone of voice.
