Dream and nightmare fought unlike any other battle with each other. Nightmare struggled against dream as dream attempted to force a duplicate of his crown onto nightmares head. Dream had essentially made a crown like his, but once it was on some else's head it took control shoving them to the deepest corners of their mind and forcing them to watch what they did as they were helpless to do anything against it. The battle hadn't been going well for nightmare as always, but it had been even harder without his own crown on his head to block the duplicate. Every time he had gotten 1 step closer to his crown he was thrown back 3 steps by dream. "Just give up brother. I won't stop until i get what i want and the AU's cleansed of your negativity!" night grunted against the claim and as he finished another wave of bones were sent his way. He didn't have time to attack and nor did he want to. It was his brother after all, but that didn't matter right now. What mattered, was that dream was sending attacks so fast he couldn't defend himself only dodge, And dodging can only get someone so far. But, in just a second everything seemed to stop. He grunted as his head hit the ground, He looked up to see dream smirking as he pinned him. He saw a glimmer of light to his left and quickly looked to see his crown. Dream had seen what he was glancing at and smiled. He got up and quickly and pinned night with blue bones. He walked to the crown and picked it up. "You know brother, your not very clever~" Night went wide eye socketed as dream threw his crown in the air and pierced it to bits with bones. a few tears fell down his cheeks as he watched his crown bits fall to the ground. "W-why? do you hate me? was I that bad of a brother!" night screamed as his brothers face fell to sympathy. "It's none of those and you know that! I-i just want you to join me...to see things the way I do," dreams face became stern as he looked at his brother,"But that won't happen will it?" Nightmares only was response was to look away. "I knew it." Dream had the blue bones vanish and night sat up and shuffled away, "That's why i'm dong this." And as dream finished he teleported behind nightmare and shoved the crown on his head before night could react. Dream stepped back and watched as the crown took effect. Though it had taken longer than first anticipated due to nightmares struggling. He watched as nightmare slumped down and clawed at his head doing his best to resist the crown. Nightmare had noticed when his eye's were open there was black goo dripping down, 'i've got to stop no matter how much i don't want to. I can't risk it coming out' Nightmare stopped as he watched himself stood up through his eyes. He couldn't move his own muscles but, it didn't matter as long as it didn't come out. "Now brother let's go." Dream said as nightmare stood up and looked at him. His once purple eye's now a cyan blue, as black goo stained down his cheek bones like tears. "Of course Brother." and as nightmares body followed dream like a slave, He fought inside his head with the beast inside him. But he can't fight forever
