I shakily open my eyes to my unfamiliar surroundings. There's not a stir throughout the apartment. My eyes are drawn to the specs of dust floating amongst the rivers of sunlight flooding the room. The position of the windows behind the bed allows for a nice amount of light while preventing it from completely destroying my vision. Which is definitely appreciated.
I can feel Jacob's arm laid across my stomach over the plush, cozy comforter separating it from my still bare skin. A part of me can't help but be entertained by the thought that he may be nude still as well. I scrape my teeth along my bottom lip as I immaturely lift the covers to see if my theory is true. It's just as I suspected... "Sun's out buns" going on under there. I forcefully exhale through my nose, trying not to make sound as I chuckle to myself at my clear lack of maturity.
I turn my head towards his, observing his face as he continues to sleep. I don't think I've ever seen his expression so peaceful before. It's... nice. One of the best things about spending the night with him... no snoring! There's the slight sound of heavy breathing coming from his side of the bed, but that's still not snoring which is good enough for me! Bree used to drive me insane with the unfortunate condition. Every now and then I'd catch myself waking up at 3A.M., pushing her face with the palm of my hand, hoping it'd subtly wake her up a enough to stop the vile sound. Of course that would only fix the problem for a few short moments before she turned back into basically a static radio... Anyway, how adorable Jacob looks lying there urges me to dare not wake him. Besides, after the night we had he could use some rest; wink, wink. I carefully formulate a plan to desert our cocoon of a bed. Ever so gently, I begin plucking his fingers up into my hand to release me from his controlling embrace. It's reminds me of that board game I used to play; Operation. That damn buzzer almost made me pee my pants every time... Once I securely have his hand in mine, I begin hovering it back to his side of the bed. I lay it down in front of his face, pleased with my successful mission. He must be a heavy sleeper, maybe I can actually make it out the room without waking him after all.
I begin shifting my legs toward the edge of the bed to slump off as if I was made of Jell-O. But once I hoist myself not even an inch off the sleek, cool sheets, Jacob's arm is once again over my stomach while his fingers have wrapped themselves around my waist. "And just where do you think you're off to?" his husky, morning voice inquires. That damn accent of his can even make a scratchy morning voice sexy... My head whips back toward him. He still lays there with his eyes closed, but I can see a hint of a smile painted on his face. I can do nothing but confusingly. I'm way too distracted by the veins protruding from his foreman due to his tight grip on me. I've always had a thing for that, not sure why. He was sure to fling the comforter, the barrier between him and my clothes-less body. "Did I say you could leave?" his voice projects clear as day this time. I can feel his fingers tensing against my soft skin. Thank god I'm religious about moisturizing, right? In one swift motion he pulls me back down and into him, turning our bodies accordingly. I now lay on top of him, breast pushed against his chest and legs parted to sit on each side of his hips, with an expression like a deer caught in head lights. His breath is warm against my neck, yet it still manages to form goose bumps... I support myself with my hands plopped on either side of his head, grazing his ears, while he wraps his arms around my back, bringing his face back down for our noses to touch, never breaking his smile.
