The helicopter begins it's decent on the top of an exceptionally grand building. I find it odd that there'd be a helicopter pad up here due to the old architectural style of it, but I guess there's always room for a touch of modernization after all. Jacob assists me in steeping down onto the roof. And like always... I have to embarrass myself somehow... I miss the last step on the step-stool, causing me to practically fall into his arms. I quickly redeem myself by joking, "Gee, you sure know how to make a girl swoon!" He's outright charmed by my statement, leaving his arms supporting me while also holding me close to him for a brief moment.
He leads me down a steel staircase surrounded by red, brick walls and opens the door located at the bottom, permitting us to enter the gorgeous, French apartment. We enter a room constructed of complete elegance. It's any person's dream apartment right in the middle of Paris, fitting enough for Audrey Hepburn herself. The walls are hung with expensive artwork and framed with intricate trim-molding. The floor itself could even be considered art! It's made up of salvaged barn wood from old French farms, arranged in an eye-catching display. There's a wall of windows flooding the apartment with light for a airy, open effect.
"I have some bad news," I announce. Jacob places a hand on my waist, turning me towards him. "What's wrong? Is this okay-" he voices his concern; it's quite adorable actually. "It's just... You're never going to get me to leave," I smirk back. That endearing smile returns to its rightful place as he pulls me closer into him. "I hate to break it to you, but we have somewhere to be in a bit," his voice trickles with excitement and mystery. Before I can even ask him where exactly we'll be heading, he places his thumb against my lips to shush me. "No time for questions, go get yourself dressed," his eyes wander up and down my body. His thumb gently traces them as his thoughts grow more and more explicit... He rests his thumb directly on the center of them before tenderly moving it downward, dragging my bottom lip along with it. "The bedroom is up the stairway and to your left," he interrupts our trance.
