this can't be happening
it's all my fault
why did I have to take the zipline
why can't he remember
I glance in his direction and he has stopped rocking and is looking at me, staring at me.
"Tobias, what can you remember?" I ask softly
"how do you know my name!" he yells
wait, that means he remembers his initiation
"you told me" I say
"WHY WOULD I TELL A SILLY LITTLE TWELVE YEAR OLD MY NAME, MY PAST. BECAUSE THAT IS ALL YOU ARE YOU'D BE BETTER OFF A STIFF. IN FACT I BET YOU ARE A STUPID SCRAWNY STIFF. WHY WOULD I CARE FOR YOU. WHY WOULD ANYBODY."
