Chapter 9

Justin's POV

I cant believe it ! I was drunk and Cora took advantage of me! 

"Get out Cora." I said. 

She gave me a sad look saying,"but-"

"GET OUT!" I screamed and she dropped the plate. She bent down to pick it up and winced . I look down onto her and noticed that she cut herself. 

I sighed ,exasperated and helped her.

After cleaning up the mess, I cleaned her wound.

She giggled .

"What?" I asked.

"I never saw you do this . I never thought you know how to clean a wound." she said and I scoffed.

"Im a man ,yes , but it doesnt mean that Im useless." I said.

She  gasped  and said,"I never said that! I was just saying that you never showed much concern to anyone so I feel grateful. Thank you."

I let go of her hand and stood up. "No need to thank me . It was what was right. Do not think of anyother reason."  I said,coldly and turned around.

She then said,"I have a offer for you Justin."

I turned around and asked,"What makes you think I wont back of from your offer?" 

She smiled and stood near me. "Because, this offer can help you gain access to Jane once again. "she told me.

I frowned. "But why would you help me?" I asked.

She trailed her fingers down my chest and said,"Because...daddy wants me to marry and I dont want to yet..." 

"But you're so young!" I commented.

"It's an arranged marriage ,Jus. What can I do?Of course if I rebel and say I have a boyfriend...then  the other party might change their mind. " she said and looked me in the eyes. "What do you say ?"

I thought for a moment.

"You said you can help me gain access to Jane . How? She hates me. Plus, I think it is better to leave her alone. She decided already." I said.

"You're so much of a  martyr. If you really love somebody, fight for them till the bitter end . Or...till the sweet start. " she scolded me.

She does have a point. my subconsiousness said.

I sighed and nodded. "Fine. We have a deal but there are rules. " I said.

She nodded.

"No falling in love. " 

She scoffed,"Dont worry about me. Worry about yourself."

I rolled my eyes. "There is what we call personal space. Mind your own business.And this would only last a month.Agreed  ?" I asked.

She nodded and took my hand and shook it.

"Agreed."

Jane's POV

I was reading a book when Isabelle and Charlotte came in dragging Justin.

Isabelle glared at me and Charlotte released a dark aura while Justin struggled to get away. Then a girl followed after them. 

I frowned. I seem to recognise that girl but who is she? I cant tell.....

"Jane, why did you say that to Justin?" Isabelle screamed.

"He punched Ryan!" I started.

"THat is of no reason! He was telling the truth!" Charlotte said.

I snorted. "More like telling his lie to have his dreams." I said.

The girl stepped in and told me,"Excuse me ,bitch , but Im Justin's girlfriend so why would  you assume that he'd be telling you something like that?" 

I frowned and I felt like I was dropped with cold water. "Y-you are his...what now?" I stuttered and Isabelle and Charlotte stared at her ,shocked.

Justin dusted his pants off and nodded to us. He scratched the back of his head and said,"I uh...I forgot to tell you about that. Cora and I are dating for the past ....3 years..." 

3 years... longer than Ryan and I.... so he was dating her while he liked me? What kind of guy is he?

"3 years....so you were just playing with me back then." I stated.

"No! I really did love you ! But...when you moved, you told me to move on so I let go and here we are now, with our own relationships..." he said.

I sighed and nodded. "What do you really want here guys?" I asked Isabelle and charlotte.

Isabelle gasped . "You ask us that kind of question? We're your friends remember? Can we not visit you?" she asked,hurt.

Charlotte kept silent. Gawds, they're mad....

"Look I just- I ...okay ,seriously what's up?" I asked.

Charlotte and Isabelle grabbed  Justin,glared at Cora and pushed him near me.

He glared at them but then Isabelle said,"Make up you two."

I protested but the glare of the two of them was so scary I obliged.

"Peace be with you. "I muttered.

"And all so with you." he said,bowing.

The two girl rolled their eyes and Cora laughed. 

"AGAIN!!!"  they both screamed and we both sighed.

"Sorry,Jane. " he muttered.

"yeah...sorry to you too." I said.

"Look uhm...can we maybe ....start of as friends again? Like a fresh start? No awkward feelings, tensions or whatever?" he asked.

I nodded.

"Sure. As long asyou respect my decisions Id be happy to oblige." I answered him with a smile.

He grinned and the 2 glaring girls cheered while I detected a hint of jealousy from Cora.

I shrugged . What can I say? The girl is insecure. 

Justin grabbed something from his pocket and gave it to me.

I looked down and saw a box in my hands. I started opening it when he said,"Open it later."

I asked,"What is it?"

"It's a peace offering." he told me,shyly.

I raised an eyebrow but nodded. "I have nothing to give though."I said.

"S'okay." he said and grabbed Cora by the arm ,saying,"Bye guys. Gotta take Cora around for a bit."

Jealousy flashed over me even though I know I have a boyfriend. I shook my head to clear my thoughts and bid them good bye. A while later, Charlotte and Isabelle left too and I was left all alone. Where is Ryan at this time? He said he was just going to be out for I while.

I sighed. 

Guess I just have to wait.
