XVIII

As I walked lazily through the hallway with my books on my hand, I felt a pair of arms entangled unto my waist.

I didn't bother to look at the person anymore. With it's short arms and little fingers, I can already tell who it was.

"Yah, notice me!" He shouted at me while grunting softly.

"What?" I asked as I continued walking, making Jimin struggle at his position.

When he can't stand our way of walking anymore, he stopped me from taking any steps further.

He made me turn around, facing his grumpy face. "Hmm.. If it was Taehyung, he won't stop me from walking and would continue back-hugging me." I said, teasingly staring at him.

It immediately made me smile, seeing his already pouted lips curved into a round shape making him look more adorable.

"Why are you like that?" He said groaning childishly. "Just because you and Taehyung are okay now, you would ignore my existence.. Hmph!" I chuckled a little bit at his statement.

"I'm not ignoring you Chim, what are you talking about?" I asked innocently, the smile never leaves my face.

"Oh shut up! He had been dragging you wherever he wants these past few weeks! While me? I get to tag along with Hobi-hyung, which is to be honest, a very loud person for my liking!" Seeing him ranting and being such a child, I just laughed harder.

The frown on his brows was more visible and I just shook my head in disbelief.

"Come on, Chim.. Maybe he's just doing his best to make our friendship work again like before.. But that doesn't mean I totally forgot Park Jimin. You're my best friend too, dummy.." My words made him smile slightly.

"I'm your 'only' best friend, Taehyung's your lover.." He said, being petty and all.

"You know it doesn't work that way." I pulled him into a quick hug and looked at him again. "And hey, Hobi-hyung's company isn't that bad you know.."

"Yeah, but most of the time all he do is scream. And you know how I hate that.. But beside that, he's just an adorable cutie." He stated and smiled.

"Jungkook?" Out of nowhere, a voice suddenly interrupted us. Jimin and I turn our heads where the voice came from, only to see Irene standing behind us.

"Jungkook? Hey!" I awkwardly smiled at her when she waved her hand at us.

"Do you have the same class with Taetae? We can walk together, he's just getting his books." She offered while smiling nicely at us.

"Uh, no thanks.. I'll walk with Jimin today." I declined politely while she just nodded as a response and started walking away.

When Jimin and I can't see her through the crowds anymore, he turned his gaze at me, revealing his frowned brows.

"What's with that girl? She seems pretty clingy at you and Tae.. Perhaps, she's threatened at you?" Jimin asked suspiciously and I shook my head at him.

"Pfft.. What would she be so threatened about? It's not as if Tae would choose me over her." I said defensively.

"But admit it, she's acting pretty strange towards you." Jimin replied pettily.

"She just wants to be close with me since I'm one of Taehyung's friends, you know, to know his boyfriend more.." I explained.

"But do you like the idea?" He asked, smirking at me.

"Of what?"

"I dunno, the idea of her getting close to you or the idea of knowing her 'boyfriend' more? Whatever you prefer." He shrugged as if he's just making me choose between two flavors of ice cream.
