Fay and Dr. Eggman usually spent half of the day together. He would usually test her on her ability and speed. But today he felt that she was getting better and soon he would take her out on the field for a fight.

Fay scrunched her face in disgust as Dr. Eggman as he handed her a black loose long sleeved shirt, black loose pants, a blue pouch to carry water and black converse. "What's this for?" She asked as she held it up against her body. "Today you are going out on your own to the city. I want you to sneak around and test your magnificent powers." She huffed crossing her arms. "Alright father. When do I leave?" She asked bored as she leaned into her chair. "Right now." Fay raised her finger to protest. "That's an order." Dr. Eggman frowned at her and she dropped her hand. "Fine."

As Fay walked away to go change in her room, Dr. Eggman leaned back in his chair and smiled. 'She is getting stronger, her control is getting better. Sooner or later she won't even need her arms to control the water.' He smiled triumphantly at the screen. On the screen was a blue hedgehog that was simply laying down on a roof of the Thorndyke's house. The blue hedgehog continued to sleep with his head on top of his crossed arms. 'He won't resist Fay...'

'I really do not want to do this...This is the first time I will ever be by myself in the city. I don't think I'm ready for this...' Fay thought as she pushed the waves behind her with her arms as she surfed above the ocean. She breathed deeply taking in the fresh air before going into the polluted city. Pelicans and seagulls flew above her as she skidded to a stop on the beach. She face planted on the beach and groaned. 'Thank god no one saw me fall.' She stood up and brushed herself off, trying her best to get all of the sand off her front.

Fay took her blue pouch and unscrewed the cap, she pulled a good amount of water from the ocean and put it into her pouch in a fluid motion. She smiled and screwed the cap back on. Fay continued to walk on the beach before finally taking a turn towards the city.

"Oh geez..." Fay mumbled to herself as she watched people cross the streets with even a go sign. Fay walked towards a more secluded street. She took a turn into a small alley beside a bar and leaned against the wall. "Why do I have to scout the city? Doesn't he have drones to do this?" Fay pulled out a black and blue mask from her her sling bag.

~~~~
"Why do I have to wear this?" Fay asked raising a blue and black fox mask with small blue markings and a red fire symbol on it's forehead above her head in frustration. "You have to keep your cover. That's why!" Dr. Eggman stood up from his chair walking in front of her. He towered over her as she stared at him with annoyance. "I have a plan to take over this world and destroy my enemies." Fay frowned as she took a step back. "Destroy..? You told me we wouldn't hurt anyone." Dr. Eggman smiled nervously patted her head trying to convince her. "I will not destroy anything..." She smiled and nodded before walking away. "But you will..." He whispered as he took a seat back in his chair.
~~~~~

Fay looked at the mask and touched it softly on it's blue markings running her hands towards the fire symbol that rested between it's eye holes. Fay touched the crescent like noon above the fire for a bit longer. Fay tugged on the silk string and tied it hard against her head so it wouldn't slip. The ceramic mask fit nicely on her face as she smiled.

Loud yelling interrupted her as she touched her mask. She leaned forward off the wall and raised her brow. A man in a black leather jacket was holding a woman at gunpoint, the gun pointed at her chest as cried silently to herself. "Give me the case woman! Your husband wants it and I want to get paid!" The woman pulled her case closer to her chest. "No. I can't give it to you!" The man growled and began to pull the trigger.

Fay's eyes widened as she pulled water from her pouch, breaking the cap off with a pop. Fay punched towards the man, the water hitting him in the face and side, pushing him off balance. A loud shot rang through the alley as he barely missed the woman. The woman stared at the man before turning her direction towards Fay. The woman seemed confused but smiled with joy upon seeing Fay. "Thank you!" Although the woman couldn't see Fay's face, she smiled nervously knowing that if Fay didn't make a move, she would have died.

"Don-" Fay stopped talking as a bullet whizzed by her head. The man stood up holding onto his side where the water had crashed into him, his face dripping with water. With a pained and angry look he pointed gun towards Fay. "Who the fuck are you?" Fay shrugged her shoulders and raised her hands and slowly began to clutch her her hands into fists as the water on his body began to freeze over him. The man panicked as ice covered him from the gun, covering his right arm, his chest and up to his neck. The woman gasped, taking a step into the wall while covering her mouth.

The sounds of sirens stopped Fay before she could cover his nose. Fay smiled as he tried to claw the ice of his arm with his left arm. "It's no use buddy. Just go to prison like everybody else." He began to turn around to run but slipped on ice and fell on his ice covered chest making a loud clink. He turned to Fay who just stood innocently, swaying back and forth. Before he could get up to run Fay used the remaining water on the floor to hold him down by his ankles.

He tried to push up but gave up when he realized the police were on their way. Fay smiled and turned to the shocked woman. She snapped out of it and dug into her black pants, she pulled out a card and extended her hand for Fay to take it. Fay took it hesitantly and tilted her head in confusion. "If you ever need a lawyer. Call me. Thank you for helping me. You must go." Before the strange woman could continue two police officers entered the entrance of the alley. Both men stared at her, the woman and back to the man who was quietly banging his head into the pavement in disgrace.

Fay smiled knowing that was her time was up. 'Now how do I get outta here?' Fay looked up at a storm drain and saw water pouring out. 'What a perfect place to put a drain...' Fay raised her arms, feeling the water at her fingertips and pulled water from the drain. She exhaled as she pulled her arms apart. The alley was filled with a thick fog. As soon she pulled her fog up, she escaped through the back of the alley.

~~~~
On top of the building that was next to the alley was a mobian, a giant blue hedgehog. The fastest thing alive, Sonic the Hedgehog.
Sonic's eyes were wide with surprise. He had seen her when she had first walked into the alley but not her face. Although Sonic couldn't see her face, he did see her big blue eyes. They were an ocean blue. Sonic was about to intervene when the man pointed the gun at the woman. He had not expected for the girl to stop the man. Much less with a a giant strip of water. 'That's really neat.' Sonic thought as he stood up from the ledge watching her disappear from sight.
