Chapter 7:The Deal

TANYA'S POV

Im here at the school's garden.Im waiting for Draven to discuss about the plan on their monthsary.How lucky Kia is...

"Sorry if Im late!I just went to the flower shop to buy some flowers."-Draven

I stared at him.I know the flowers are for Kia.But I cant help myself to expect.Sh*t this feeling!

"That's fine."-I said

Aish!I'll try my best to control this feeling.I have to act as normal as I can.*inhale*  *exhale*

"So?Lets discuss your monthsary."-I said and sat formally beside him

We're sitting at a bench right now.He was holding his banquet of flowers for Kia.Duh?Cant he just let it go with his hands for a sec?!?

"I was planning to surprise him in my brother's restaurant.Just me and Kia..."-he explained

"Then I guess you dont need my help anymore.Im sure you're good all alone planning for your monthsary..."-I said then made my way out but he held my hand

At that moment,I felt my heart going wild.Uh-oh!I just want to end this because if it wouldn't I cannot control myself to fall for this man.D*mn!What to do?

"Why do you sound so bitter?"-he asked and held my hand tighter

"Nevermind"-I said and faced him

I noticed that the flowers are now on the ground.I blushed when a thought came to my mind that he just let go of those flowers just to stop me from leaving.How romantic would it be if no one would get hurt right?

"Please let go of my hand.Someone might thought that we're doing something..."-I said

He let go of my hand.He sat at the bench and pointed me to sit beside him.I picked up the flowers and gave it to him.

"I need you to help me about Kia's taste of food and other details about her."-Draven

"Im not really close to Kia.But I think I could ask her without being noticed."-I said

"Then,its settled!"-He said then stood up

"Okay!"-I said

I stood up from the bench.I was about to carry my backpack but Draven volunteered himself to carry it.I just smiled at him and he did the same.And there goes my heart...

"I have to bring you home."-he said

I blushed.Yieeeeeh!Damn this man!Now I know why Kia fell for this guy.

"I cant let my girlfriend's friend alone..."-he added

Yeah!I am just HIS GF'S FRIEND!!!Why didnt I think of that?!?How stupid of me to assume!

"Yeah right!"-I said then rolled my eyes

I started walking.How many times did I warn myself not to assume?!?Geez!Another heartbreak...

"Hey!Wait for me!"-he said

Atleast Im lucky though.I get to spend my day with my crush.Its a big time opportunity!So I should feel and enjoy this moment because I know someday he will pick Kia over me.I just fought a losing battle.Why bother fight when you know in the end you're losing?

"Draven,can I have a request?"-I asked

He stopped walking and faced me.He cupped my cheeks and that made my heart dance.Draven,stop yourself from making me fall to you!Because if this feeling gets worst,I dont know what to do.I might destroy Kia and I's friendship.

He let go of my cheeks and smiled.Why does he have to smile?Isn't he informed that it can make my heart go wild?!?Ugh!

"What?"-he asked

I started walking while he's behind me.I dont know if he followed me or not,but I dont want to fight a losing game.I have to tell him...

"After your monthsary,can we please treat ourselves as strangers?I just dont want to mess up with Kia..."-I said while holding my tears

Im not trying to make a dramatic scene so I immediately pulled my bag from him and ran towards my house.Its just few meters away and I didnt noticed that.See?Draven's presence make me stupid and I dont want that.Thats the last thing I would definitely do!

I heard him shouting something but I didnt faced him back.Ive had enough of him.I just want to return to my usual self but at the end of the day,I found myself spending time with him.I gotta plan fast for their monthsary so that I can move on.

Moving on is for the people who hurt themselves because of the word "us" but can they call it move on even in the first place there's no "us"?!?

I dont care about those things!The h*ck with them!I just want to move on!And dont judge my situation right now cuz' you dont know who am I.

I pressed the doorbell beside our gate,or should I say gate bell?Psh,yeah its corny!One of our maids greeted me and opened the gate.

"Maayong buntag,maam!"-she greeted in vernacular (Translator:Good Morning,Maam!)

I just smiled at her.Most of our maids speaks different language but majority,speaks vernacular.I went inside and then I saw Leo at the living room with his parents talking to my parents.

Everyone looked at me and smiled.I smiled awkwardly.What are they doing here?!?

"My dear daughter,please take a seat..."-my mother said then pointed the direction where Leo was sitting.

Really,mom?Aish!Why does she keep me pushing to Leo when infact my heart was already taken by someone.

"Perfect!"-mom said when I sat beside Leo.

"Now that we're complete,lets talk about the upcoming wedding."-mom

"About that,I would like to suggest to make it sooner because my wife and I are planning to retire as soon as my son will get married."-Mr.Trinidad said

I faced Leo's mother who wants to say something.She looks really young.

"But I would like to make the wedding happen after they finish their studies."-Mrs.Trinidad

"That would be nice!"-Dad

"But—"-mom protested but Mr.Trinidad cut him off

"Nice idea!"-Mr.Trinidad

I faced Leo who is sitting beside me.Im not feeling we today but I dont want to disappoint Mom and Dad so I breathed heavily and focused on our parents talking about the preparations for our wedding.

"You okay?"-Leo whispered

"Yeah..."-I answered

"Lie."-he stated

"Shut up!"-I said then maintained my posture

I was shocked when Leo excused us and carried me in a bridal style.What the—!B-bridal style?!?What is he doing?!?

"Put me down!"-me

Our parents just smiled.Uh-oh!

"Im gonna heal your heart,Sweety"-he said softly

And that made my tears burst.

At exactly 1111 words,I finished this chapter.Today's date:4-23-18!  And that's exactly my birthday.Happy Birthday to me!!!
