The Letter

The next morning Lexi was listening to music, Tech was meditating, Rev was playing a video game, Slam was eating some pizza and Duck was admiring himself in the mirror. Ace was still sleeping which was very unlike him but they were waiting for him because they had something to show him. "Hey-Lexi-do you-think-Ace-is-gonna-like-what-we-found?" asked Rev. "I don't know Rev I'am not sure what to think of this eithier since we just got here three days ago." Lexi answered. "Well it is a bit surprising." said Tech. "What's surprising?" a voice asked. They all turned around and saw Ace who had just woke up. Lexi, Tech, Slam and Rev looked very concerened because he looked a little upset but Duck just smirked at him. "Are you ok cheif?" asked Tech. "Yeah why?" Ace asked. "Well you seem upset and you overslept that's not like you at all." answered Lexi. "Well i was just lost in thought and didn't get much sleep last night." said Ace reassuingly. "Well what do you know, looks like the so-called leader was lost in his own thoughts guess he's not as mighty as he think he is." teased Duck with an evil smirk. Ace felt a bit hurt by that but tried his best not to show it. He didn't want anybody to know how he felt. "Duck be quiet and give Ace a break will you?!" Lexi yelled. "Hey I'am just saying my opinion it's not like I'am saying anything false." said Duck, acting like he did nothing wrong. "Well no one asked for your opinion so keep out of it."Tech growled. "Yeah-like-Lexi-said-be-quiet." said Rev, glaring at Duck. Slam growled in agreement. "It's fine guys really, so what exactly has been going on?" Ace asked. Lexi walked up to him and gave him an envelope her and the others found in the mail today. "We found it this morning read it." she answered. Ace was a bit confused but he just took out the paper in the envelope and began to read it. As he did he was shocked at what was written on it. Dear Ace, Lexi, Duck, Tech, Slam and Rev You all have be chosen to come to Canterlot High School. I have heard so many things about you. Especially how hard your lives have been growing up. So i want to give you all a chance to have a normal life. It will be great to have you at my school and I can't wait to meet you all. Sincerely Principal Celestia. "An entrollment for us to go to school?" asked Ace in shock. "I-know-we-couldn't believe it eithier-makes- me-feel-like-yodeling!" Rev exclaimed in excitement. Rev began to yodel but Tech grabbed his mouth and closed it shut. "Don't." he said in annoyance and shook his head. Then he let go of his mouth. "But this does seem really interesting." he said. "What I don't understand is how this lady knows about us?" asked Ace. "I don't know but think of it Ace, didn't Zadavia send us here to help the heroes here with their missions? Maybe they go to that school and we could meet them." Lexi answered. "I guess it does make a good point but does she know what we do?" asked Ace. "I don't think so i mean we just got here but we could use a break and try to be normal teenagers." Tech explained. "I guess you're right but a chance for us to go to school." said Ace. To be honest Ace was very nervous because some of the students could be very mean and hurt them very bad and he didn't want his friends to get hurt. "If you wan to be a big baby Ace then go ahead. So maybe it's best you stay here while we go have a normal life." Duck said. "Be quiet Duck!" yelled Lexi, Tech, Slam and Rev. Duck just growled as he walked away not caring if what he said was very hurtful. Lexi put a paw on his shoulder. "Just ignore Duck ok Ace?" said Lexi comfortingly. Ace turned to her and smiled." Thanks Lex." he said. "Your welcome." said Lexi. The two blushed. You see ever since they became The Loonatics Ace and Lexi were secretly in love with each other and hoped one day they could confess to each other. "LIke Lexi said don't listen to him this could be good for us." Tech said. "Yeah-maybe-we-could-make-some-friends" said Rev. "I'am sorry for how I'am acting to this guys i guess I'am just worried that we will be the only talking animals at that school." Ace answered. "Actually we won't from what i heard the principal is allowing creatures like us into school after a groupl of mutant turtles saved the world from that Kranng Invasion." said Lexi. They all shurddred remembering thet invasion. The Kranng were a bunch of aliens who nearly took over the world and one day the invasion stopped but none of them knew how until now. "I guess that makes me feel a little better." Ace said with a small smile. "But there's still one question should we go or not?" asked Lexi. "Hmmmmmmm....... a chance for a normal life." they all thought at the same time. But what they didn't know was that their final decision will change their lives for the better.
