why people ship drarry according to my over complicated way of over-analysing
draco is like a lychee, right, he's got this tough pureblood brat spiky exterior that was real once, but as time passes he discovers that this tough impenetrable shell is a soft sweet squishy centre that he desperately tries to hide because it would be his downfall. no one can know his true feelings because his future is to be married off and produce an heir.
harry's like a peach, a direct contrast. he's a soft boy, who appears to wear his heart on his sleeve and is big and gryffindor and not afraid to fight to the death for what he believed in. but past this lovable approachable hero on the outside his heart is stony and guarded. he's been hurt too many times to let his defences down. a blackened, neglected peach pit resides in his chest almost past revival.
a l m o s t
this gay shit was inspired by the song peach pit i was listening to and got a bit sentimental
"Oh peach pit where'd the hours go
When your orange skin began to glow
From a hanging branch in gardens home
Not much is hidden underneath
a rocky heart for broken teeth
and apple cores cyanide seed"
"Lift back and see the darkness hid
Swallowed up an angled in
Looking back at sweetness dim"
-peach pit, by peach pit
