Chapter 8

Asia POV

"You two know each other?" Mark questions

I look over to Jacob as I hesitate, unsure of what to say.

"We met recently, new friends I guess?" Jacob answers

"Oh great! You two can use this opportunity to get to know each other better. Jacob you aren't getting any younger, Asia is seems pretty nice. I want a niece!" Caroline says excited. I blush as well as Jacob.

"Caroline! Please, no." Jacob chuckles in embarrassment from his sister.

Not going to lie, I felt a little awkward eating dinner with my therapist. I wonder if he felt the same? Well, besides the whole 'he being my therapist' thing, I actually had a fun time. Seeing Jacob in a different space from his office was fun. He was more laid back of course, tonight he wasn't my therapist, but a new friend.

"It was really nice meeting you Caroline." I say giving her a hug before entering my uber.

"Asia," Jacob stops me and pulls me to the side, "I hope you didn't feel to awkward."

"No, don't worry I had fun for the first time in along time." I say, offering a small smile. I walk towards my uber again and get in. Wow I didn't think of Joey that whole time.

I've been dreading this day. It's time to go to my first session of the week. Will it be awkward after Friday? I mean it shouldn't we just hung out I guess.

"Yeah with my therapist" I say quietly to myself.

It'll be fine. We are both two adultish people. Maybe I'm over exaggerating this. I'm sure he hasn't thought of me since.

I'm soon in front of his office door.

knock knock

"Come in!" He speaks

"Good afternoon, Jacob."

"Afternoon, Asia."

We soon sit down and ignore the past. I look at my lap until he says something that takes my breathe away.

"I set up a small appointment for us with Joey." He spoke coolly.

"W-what?" I ask confused

"I've been thinking about it and I think it's best for you two to end properly."

"What!" I now shout

"I have prepared a restraining order against him, you both need to sign it. It will be the best thing for the both of you." He says scared of my reactions.

"We won't. I won't. He definitely will not." I say stubborn

"Asia, please."

"Goodbye, Mr. Sartoruis" I say fast as I head for the door

Before I know it I am trapped between him and the wall. He has his arms on both sides of me in, pressing against the wall. He pinned me against the wall. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in as I look into is eyes. Before I know it his lips are on mine. I kiss back before I realize what is happening and who with. I slap him across the face. He drops his arms to his sides in shock.

"I love Joey." I say before successfully leaving his office
