Asia POV

I walk out the airport doors and take a deep breath in of the California air that now surrounds me. I get in a cab and go visit my family before going to my own home.

For the 25 minute drive I dramatically look out the window. I think about everything and start to cry quietly. Luckily the cab driver doesn't notice otherwise I would feel rather awkward.

As I get out the can and pay the man I am immediately engulfed by my mother's arms.

"Asia, oh my goodness! Are you okay?" My mom questions

"Mom, i'm fine."

"Asia, honey. Let's not talk about this now. The whole family is waiting inside, and I made your favourite!" She says pinching my cheeks at the end.

My mother helps me with my bags and we walk inside my childhood home together. As I stepped in I was in a group hug of all my closest friends and family. A few happy tears fall as I see them for the first time in a long time.

"I missed you all, but can you please let go of me before you lose me again, this time to death by hug." I laugh.

The family laughs too as they usher me to the table where all the food is set up.

My mom really knows how to cook and damn I never realized how much I missed her cooking.

After we finished eating. We all talked, not about the incident, but about what's happened since i've gone. Wow, I can't believe what I missed! The birth of cousins baby, my sisters engagement and a whole lot of other things. It's really good to be back.

Soon the whole family leaves and i'm left with only my mother, father and sister.

"Asia, you know we have to talk about what happened..." My dad starts talking ."

"No! I'm not talking about it!" I speak

"Well what about a therapist?" My mom starts

"If going to a therapist avoids talking to you guys about the situation, fine."
