Asia POV
As soon as I return home I am ambushed by family and asked tons of questions of what happened at my therapy session.
"How was it?"
"Were you uncomfortable?"
"Did you talk?"
"Did you talk about what happened in Australia?"
"Stop!" I shout over my family.
"Chill, I'm fine. The session went well. We talked, not about what happened and that is it. Good bye" I say walking towards my room. I knew I shouldn't have given them a key to my apartment.
After 5 minutes I hear them eventually leaving while I try to catch up on what happened while I was gone. As soon as I heard my front door close I called Mark, He'll know what's been happening.
"Hey Mark"
"Asia, I'm so happy you're okay. Should I come over?" He knows me well.
"If you can-"
"Of course I can, you've been missing for years"
"That's a bit of an over exaggeration" I laugh
"Well it felt like years."
The call ends shortly and in 15 minutes he is at my front door. As soon as I open the door I am engulfed in tight, long hug. I miss his hugs. I missed my best friend in general. As we part I notice tears threatening to fall out. I give a small sad smile.
"Well come on, tell me what happened while I was gone." I say as we sit down
"Where to start? Hm. You know that girl I've been crushing on?"
"Caroline?"
"Yes, well we've actually started dating-"
"Mark! Get some!" I laugh
"Asia!" He yells at me playfully
"Now I have to meet her."
The rest of the night we talk about him and Caroline and anything I missed out on. We also spoke about his trip to London. He only came back this morning and is experiencing Jet lag so after our long chat he goes home to sleep.
