578 WordsEzra's POV
No flipping way! Sabine was the daughter of Grand Admiral Thrawn! You got to be kidding me. Even though I wish she told me sooner, I can't help but love her more. The fact that she told me was enough for me not to flip out on her about not telling me. But, it does raise some questions like: Did she tell the Crew or at least Kanan and Hera? Has she given her dad any information? Who am I kidding? Of course she hasn't told anyone! I wouldn't! And, she's too loyal to the Rebellion and our cause to sell us out. I didn't realize that I was so deep in thought until I felt weight leaving the bed.
Sabine was getting ready to walk away but I grabbed her hand gently. She looked at me, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears. I gently pulled her down, back onto the bed with me. I kissed her hand and then wiped away a tear that escaped down her lovely face.
"Hey, you don't have to cry, Sabs." I comforted.
"You don't hate me?" She asked.
"Of course not. I didn't yell and tell you that I didn't want to marry you. I still love you and I still want to bring peace to our clans. Let's just call him and get it over with then we can go do something fun." I encouraged softly.
"Your a wonderful person Ezra Bridger." She whispered then kissed me softly.
"Lets go ahead and call your father." I told her after we broke the kiss. She simply nodded and moved back a bit then made the call.
"Sabine, I assume negotiations are going well?" Thrawn asked.
"Yes Father. I'm going to marry the son of the Bridger Clan and end the war. This is Ezra Bridger, my future husband. Ezra, this is my Father, Grand Admiral Thrawn." Sabine introduced.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, sir." I said respectfully.
"I must agree, it's a pleasure to meet you not on the battle field, Bridger." Thrawn said. After a little while longer of talking the Thrawn, we were finally alone for the night. Sabine had gone to get ready for bed and I was in boxers and sweats while laying in bed, on my data pad. The bathroom door opened and the light turned off so I put up my data pad. Sabine was in white cotton shorts that had random paint splatters and a pale blue tank top. She crawled into bed and sat on her knees beside me. I rolled over onto my chest and looked up at her. I saw her eyes flicker with something before I felt her slim fingers trace my tattoo, I looked at the ones of hers I could see and smiled at her.
"It's beautiful. You acted like it was such a bad thing earlier." Sabine yawned while laying down beside.
"I'm not super proud of it, but it does look nice." I told her while laying on my back once more and pulling her close to me. She let a cute little yawn pass through her lips as she started to fall limp little by little.
"I love you, Ezra Bridger." Sabine said and then fell asleep.
"I love you too, Sabine Wren. Sweet dreams my love." I whispered and used the force to turn of the lights.
But I couldn't help but feel this was the calm before a major storm...
