Kami's POV

"Kami, we should go out on a job." Sting said as we walked towards his guild, our hands interlocked.

"Okay, one of mine or one of yours?" I asked him as I leaned my head on his shoulder.

"You think your ready for a Sabertooth job?" He asked with a smirk. "Yes, I do." I said.

"Okay, I'll pick the job." He said as we opened the doors and stepped inside. No one payed any mind to us as we entered. Me visiting Sabertooth had become normal for most of them.

"Kami-nee!" I heard from across the hall. I saw Skyquake waving me over to the bar where she was sitting with Yukino.

Sting kissed my cheek. "Go say hi. I'll get the job request." He said and walked over to the request board.

"Skyquake! I haven't seen you in weeks!" I said as I approached the two female mages. "Hi, Yukino. How have you been?"

I gave both of them hugs and sat next to Yukino. "I've been well. How about you, Kami-sama?" She asked me.

"I've been good. I'm glad that you've been doing good since you rejoined." I said. She smiled. "Me too."

"What are you doing here?" Skyquake asked me. "Sting wanted to go on a job. I didn't have anything going on, so I said yes." I explained.

"Well, hopefully that won't be the only thing you'll say yes to today." Skyquake mumbled under her breath, causing Yukino to elbow Sky's arm.

"I-I mean...that you'll-" Sky stuttered through her words, eventually a small glare from Yukino stopped her. "I'll shut up now." She said and turned back to the book she was reading before I came over.

"Well, good luck on your job, Kami-sama." Yukino said and turned back to Skyquake.

I walked around for a while after that, talking to different people, wondering what was taking Sting so long.

MEANWHILE
Sting's POV

"Dammit! Crap, crap!" I said as I rooted through the mess of paperwork on my desk.

"Where in hell is it?!" I lost the ring. I put it on my desk the previous night and when I came up to get it and the job request, it was gone.

Finally, after looking through everything on and in my desk, I found it in the top drawer.

I grabbed the job request off of my desk and ran out of the office, tucking the small ring box in my pocket.

Kami's POV

"So all we have to do is defeat a monster?" I asked Sting as we were walking away from the clients house. He nodded.

He seemed distracted; staring off into space, really quiet, and he kept fumbling with something in his pocket.

"Babe, you okay?" I nudged his shoulder as we walked. He nodded again. "Just thinking." He said.

As we were walking through a forest of cherry trees, Sting stopped walking. I stopped next to him, thinking that something was wrong.

"What is it?" I asked him. He grabbed my shoulders and we locked eyes. "I just...have a question to ask you." He said, with a small blush.

"Kami, I know we haven't been together very long and I know that we're still both really young, but I also know that I love you and I have no doubt in my mind that you are the one for me. That's why I want to ask you..."

Sting got down on one knee and took out a small box from his pocket.

"Kami Hart Siderosha, will you make me the happiest dragon in the world and marry me?"

The tears of joy kept coming, I couldn't stop. But I managed to choke out my answer.

"Yes, Sting."

His face lit up as he stood up and slid the ring on my finger. I kissed him with so much love and passion and I could feel the same feelings coming off of him.

"I love you, Kami." Sting said in between kisses.

"I love you too, Sting." I whispered to him. "But don't we have a job to do?"

He stopped kissing me and pulled away with a blank face "Right!"

He took my left hand in his and brought his lips to the ring. "Mine~." He said as he kissed it.

TIMESKIP

When we got back from our job, Sting invited Fairy Tail to Sabertooth for an engagement party.

Everyone was laughing and having fun as I sat on Sting's lap on his throne while people came up and congratulated us. The reactions from my Fairy Tail family were very... diverse.

Lucy, Juvia, and Erza were demanding to be my bridesmaids until Delaney showed up and told them that she was going to be the maid of honor, without a doubt.

Natsu, Happy, and Gray were excited to have a brother-in-law, even when Chandler said that he and Ross would be getting the brother-in-law.

Wendy was happy for us, but Carla said the we were still to young. "Love is love, Carla. You can't control when it happens." I said to her.

Gramps gave us his blessing. Laxus, when seeing the ring, looked to Delaney, who was holding hands with Rogue, and said, "Nope. Never."

When the party dyed down, Sting was almost asleep in the chair and I was running my fingers through his blonde bangs.

"If you want, we can go home." I said softly to him. He shook his head and yawned. "We'll go home in a bit." He said.

He leaned his head into my neck and I rested my chin on top of his head. Before long we both fell asleep in that throne.
