The boy stood there, hands on hips, glaring at the people in the room. "What were you doing?" he asked angrily. Avery glanced at the oldest woman trying to ask what to do without the boy noticing. "we...er...need to tell you something. Please follow me." The women and the boy walked single file through a cold stone door less passage. "Where are the doors?" The boy was confused.
Avery knocked on the stone. It sounded hollow. Suddenly part of the wall slid aside. It was a secret passageway. Walking in, the boy thought: all these women knew him somehow and they seemed to think he was important. "Nearly there," the woman's voice broke his thoughts. "Just a bit further."
Five minutes later they walked into a classroom like room with white board and projector. "Please sit down." The boy sat. "Ten years later, a strong and benevolent Queen ruled the world." The oldest woman had obviously started a long story. "Everyone loved her. Until something terrible happened. She was murdered by a trained assassin." It looked like every word the woman spoke made her weaker and weaker yet she carried on: "before the queen was murdered she supposedly left a legacy. 'The one who avenges her by winning a war that will start 11 years after her death will claim the throne. However, if the war was lost then the neighbouring country will claim the throne.' That was the legacy. There is one year left until the war. Also after the legacy a prophecy was made about a boy born at the end of July who had powers the world knows not. He will win the war and train and rule and be a strong king." The woman recited the prophecy and looked at the boy. "We are going to train you until you cannot be trained anymore."
"Umm...am I supposed to t-to fight?" The boy asked nervously. "Yes."The woman replied solemnly.
