Alex's p.o.v

"We joined the gang, and they gave us drugs," i said enough. It was not the whole story though, yes I lied.

"Drugs? Never have I ever had drugs, and I am 25 years old, and the problem is, I work in a police station!" Owen almost yelled.

"What is wrong with you guys?" Lia finally spoke up. "Thought we were together, remember when I said that even though we're million miles apart, our heart is still one, we'll be there for each other maybe not face to face but in the heart."

Tony and I stayed quiet, because after all, she was right. We were not supposed think that someone - or anyone - could separate us. Nobody can, and nobody will. Anthony tried to pull me away from them, many times, because he loved Lia, not that I don't love her but he loves her more than anyone else can. He knew that what we were doing, is going to break her. I looked down, the tears are burning my eyes, I shouldn't have done that. After thinking about it, I looked up, tears falling.

"Mason tried to quit, that's why he got beat up, he found out that Steve is going to try kidnapping Lia. We didn't want no harm between us and Steve, so we stayed there with Steve, we were in the same car when Lia was crying and calling for help, she was screaming. Anthony was crying with her, he couldn't take Lia's crying, he hated it. While I just sat there, telling Steve that he did a good job. We already knew that umm Jacob was Steve's brother." I breathed.

"You're in deep shit," Owen glared at me.

Jason's p.o.v

I sat outside, waiting for them to finish. Tears were forming in my eyes, they're going to kill me. I was shivering, I don't know if it's cold or I was just scared. The door opened, walking through was a crying Lia. I tried wiping my tears so fast, but she saw me.

"Why are you crying?" She asked quietly.

"Doesn't matter. So what are they going to do with those two?" I asked, wiping her tears with my thumbs.

"They're going to send them to a boarding school in Georgia," she cried.

"Oh, baby," I hugged her.

"And I don't even want to say goodbye," she whispered.

"It will be ok, you're not going to lose anybody again."

We reached their house, Owen was still mad, I didn't say a thing.

"What happened?" Peter asked as soon as he opened the door for us.

"They're going to send them to a boarding school," I answered when Lia and Owen did not.

"What?" Jake gasped.

"I can't believe it!" Jack hid his face in his hands.

"What about Jacob?"

"Same but in a different country," I bit my lip. I stood up, holding Lia's hand. "You need to rest, come on."

"Jason, promise me you won't leave me?" Lia said, while I was playing with her hair.

"Can't make a promise that I can't keep, Lia."

"What?" She started crying again.

"My ex best friend is moving next week next to our house," I sighed.
