Charlie's P.O.V.

Its been almost a month since I found out I was pregnant, today was the day that I had to tell my parents about the baby. As I laid in bed, looking up at the ceiling fan. All I could think of was every worst possible thing that could happen after I tell them.

"Welp, today is the day my life gets changed again." I said to my self.

I can hear my mom down stairs in the kitchen and from what it sounds like my dad must be in the garage. I take the time now to put everything I want in bags. After about 45 minutes of packing my stuff, I get dressed and put the bags in my closet. With a few deep breaths I make my way down the across the hall and down the stairs.

"Morning baby." My mom's southern voice caught me off guard.

"Morning momma." I say with a small smile.

" Sit. Eat. If you want more sausage or fruit salad its on the counter.

It was now or never. Say it quit and fast, like ripping of a bandage, " Might have to take you up on that, eating for two now."

"Eating for what?" My dad's voice bombed from the door frame that separated the kitchen and garage.

"Umm....mom, dad I uhh.....I'm pregnant."

"Your what!!" My father was now angry, while my mother was sobbing behind him.

"She's having a baby, Mike." My momma cried out as the left the room.

"Your not thinking of keeping it are you?" My father was now completely focused on me.

"Well I'm not having an abortion!"

"Then we need to find a family for it."

"No, this baby is apart of me, I will be keeping it!" I couldn't believe they would be so heartless over a living thing.

"You can't be serious Charlotte you are 17, just a baby your self. How will you go to college and take care of a baby?"

"It won't be easy but I will be doing it. This is my choice and I choose this baby!"

"As long as you live under my roof then you will be doing what I tell you to do. Do you understand?"

From that remark I couldn't think so low of my parents. They wanted me to kill apart of me, apart of them.

"If you don't want a part in the baby then you won't have a part in me." I simply replied to my sperm giver.

"You can't be serious, this thing will ruin your life Charlotte."

"Its not a "thing" it's a baby. Say the word dad, BABY," With that last comment I  ran to my room to get my keys and my bags. Loading up my bags in the trunk, I forgot my purse and wallet. I quickly locked my car and ran back to my room grabbing my purse, phone charger and a small back box with all my savings of $6,000 in it, with that I was back in my car and ready to leave. I didn't now where I was going or where I would end up, but I was bound determined to get there.
