Zach's Pov

I got back home and I just kept thinking to myself "It's my first day as a dad and I already fucked up" that thought was on my mind the whole way home. Idk how I'm gonna make it up to her but hopefully teddy bear's will help, idk maybe I'll ask Daniel, that kid's the sweetheart of the group so he should know. Imma text him to see if he's still up

Zach: Yoooo you still awake?

Daniel: Yeah why?

Zach: Bc I need help

Daniel: Zach, I like you, but I don't think I like you that much... sorry bro

Zach: OMG NOT LIKE THAT! 

Daniel: Lmao ik I'm just messing with you, but what you need?

Zach: I'm almost home, I'll tell you then, see ya

Daniel: Ight see ya

"DANIEL!" I yelled as I got inside the house. "COMING!" Daniel yelled back. "Dude, I need your help like badly." I said. "With?" Daniel asked. "So you know how today was my first day as a dad?" I said. "Yeah?" Daniel said. "Well I fucked up." I said. "How??" Daniel asked. "Well, we went to Disneyland and fans just kept coming up to me to take pictures and get autographs and Alex feels like I chose the fans over her and that I don't love her, which isn't true." I said. "Damn, and why do you need my help?" Daniel said. "Bc Alex loves teddy bears but I don't wanna just get her teddy bear's and you're the sweetheart of the band sooooo." I said. "Yeah, true, we can go to the store first thing in the morning, but for now Imma go to bed and you should to cuz it's getting pretty late." Daniel said. "Are all the other guys asleep?" I asked. "Yeah, but gn, we'll go to the store in the morning and buy a bunch of teddy bear's ok?" Daniel said. "Ight, gn watermelon boy." I said. "Gn Jacob Sartorious." Daniel said. After that, I tried going to sleep, but ugh I couldn't stop thinking about today, I fucked up bad, I wanna be a good dad, but so far I've failed. "Zach wake up!" Daniel said. "What time is it?" I asked. "It's 9:30am." Daniel said. "Ok, well get out, imma get ready." I said. "QUICKLY PLEASE!" Daniel said. "I'll try." I said. 

*30 mins later* 

"Ok, we can go now." I said. "FINALLY!" Daniel said. We drove off to the store and since it was near Valentines day, there was a bunch of teddy bear's everywhere. "Ok, so what're you gonna get her?" Daniel asked. "Two big teddy bear's and then 10 small ones and maybe some other stuff idk yet, you know what, make it 15 small teddy bear's and three big teddy bear's." I said. "Damn, you're really gonna spoil the hella outta her aren't you?" Daniel asked. "OF COURSE I AM! I really wanna make it up to her!" I said. "Damn, I wish you were my dad." Daniel said while laughing. "Omg you have no idea how wrong that sounds." I said. "Yeah, I realized it as soon as I said it, that's why I started laughing." Daniel said. "Ok, well let's get to buying stuff for Alexis. We bought her 4 big teddy bear's and 20 regular sized teddy bear's and some candy and a nice hoodie, it was expensive, but worth it to make my little girl happy. After that, we went over to Logan's and Jonah, Jack & Corbyn were already there. "Hey, where have you two been?" Logan asked. "We were out buying some stuff." I said. "ALEXIS!" Daniel yelled. "Uncle Daniel!" Alexis yelled as she hugged Daniel. "Hey kid!" Daniel said. "What's he doing here?" Alexis asked as she pointed at me. "Hey princess, I'm so sorry about what happened yesterday at Disneyland, but I think ik how to make it up to you." I said as I knealed down to get to Alex's height. "I don't think you can daddy." Alexis said. "Oh I bet I can princess." I said. "How?" Alex asked. "Wait here, Daniel come with me." I said. Me and Daniel came back into the house with all of the teddy bear's and Logan was recording the whole thing and as we came in with all the teddy bear's Alexis started crying tears of joy. "Now did I make it up to you?" I asked. "THANK YOU SO MUCH! I love you!" Alexis said as she hugged me tight. "I love you too, always remember that, ok?" I said. "Ok, I will." Alexis said. "Zach, can I talk to you for a sec?" Camila asked. "Yes of course." I said. "That was a real good thing you just did there." Camila said. "Really? You think so?" I said while blushing a little. "Yes of course it was, you made her happy, plus that's like a shit load of teddy bear's that I now have to find room for so thanks for that." Camila said as we both laughed a little. I gotta admit, I still love her and I still wanna be with her, but idk how she feels, who knows, maybe things we'll happen. "I'm just glad it made her happy." I said. "And I'm glad you cared so much to get her all that, it's your 2nd day as a dad and even tho you pretty much fucked up the 1st day, you did an amazing job on the 2nd day, you must really care." Camila said. "Well, of course I do." I said. "You're a good dad Herron." Camila said. "And you're a good mom Camila." I said as I kissed Camila on the cheek. "We should get back to Alex." I said. "Yeah we should." Camila said. For the rest of the day, we all hung out and me and the guys got to know Alex better. I swear today was one of the best days of my life.
