~life is not about how hard of a hit you can give..It's about how many you can take, and will keep moving forward.~
Zora stayed with the elderly man for a few weeks, she helped him, he helped her, she got to stay low key. When she woke up she started working, she swiped the floors and cleaned the products.
She could hear horses coming.
"Raid!" Is all she heard
She felt a tug on her jacket.
"We need to hide!" The older man said
"Go hide, I'll handle this." She nodded
She shooed him off and she grabbed her sword.
She stood in front of the table, she was on one knee and she kept her head down.
The curtain was ripped down.
Two men walked up laughing.
"Shouldn't you be running?" A man laughed
He reached down and grabbed a gold ring, with one swift motion Zora swung her sword down and it clashed with the guys leg, he fell to the ground and she jumped on him and struck her sword through his chest.
She turned to the other guy and he pulled out his axe.
She rushed toward him and she jumped and cut his cheek.
"Magi!" He yelled
The rest of his men ran off.
"Get back here!" She heard a booming voice she thrusted her sword into his chest and blood splattered over her face.
She walked out to see if anyone else needed help.
"Why did they leave?" The familiar voice said
"Ask Her?" Another familiar voice said
Three boys stood in front of her, her heart thumped in her chest.
It was Kye, Saldor..And Thor.
"Zora?" Thor questioned, he started to walk up to her but before he could reach her she ran off, she was lucky she ran faster then the god of thunder.
"Zora!" She heard Thor yell
She ran into a tent and hid there until night came, she knew Thor wouldn't be out by now Odin wouldn't allow it.
She stepped out to see Asgurd in a flurry, people seemed rushed. She kept her head low. She walked around the city, she heard another familiar voice.
"Zora!" The voice bellowed
The person was getting closer and closer, Zora hide behind a tent and she looked to see Fleck calling her name.
None of the boys she knew were boys anymore.
She turned around and let out a breath, before she couldn't move she felt a large strong hand cover her mouth she was pulled to the side, the movement was a blur and she still didn't know who has taken her.
Before she could say anything she was standing in the front of the castle.
She looked back the see Mavi her old trainer, her heart softened until she heard the castle doors open.
"Good job Mavi!" Thor bellowed
She scowled at both men.
"Thor what is going.." Odin stopped in his footsteps to see Zora standing in front of him
"You have returned?" Odin questioned
"I was just passing through when I was taken from my spot." She snarled
"She was hiding behind a tent." Mavi corrected
"You've changed." Odin nodded
"Well It has been nine years." She commented
"I heard you stopped the raid." Odin nodded
"I guess so." She said, she didn't make eye contact with any of them
There was a strong silence.
"I must go." She said and turned around
"You are Home." Odin nodded
Mavi pulled her inside the castle, Mavi, Kye and Saldor walked off.
"Zora!" A female voice boomed
Zora turned around and eyed the red head running her way, she was engulfed in a hug, but she didn't hug back.
"It's me Vatrice." She smiled as she let go
"Yup..It sure is." Zora nodded with a light grin
"Maybe she needs sleep?" Thor muttered to Odin
"Show her to her room." Odin demanded
Thor lead Zora up the stairs, she didn't look back she didn't feel much of an attachment to any of them anymore.
Once they got to her room Thor cleared his throat.
"Your not a monster, my father told me a while ago why you left." Thor muttered
"Look I'm not staying, I'm leaving in the morning." She snapped
"But you're people are here." Thor cooed
"You mean you're people, I'm just a freak with abilities. I'm the single Orphan, the unloved child." She said before she walked into her room and slammed the door.
