Chapter 2

"This drama is gonna be a good one!" Our manager said.

"I bet it is," Jaebum said.

Fall Like Rain, I read the title. In the summary it said, In which two lovers experience hardships, dishonesty, and distrust in their relationship as it falls apart like rain.

Huh, that sounds pretty sad. I thought.

"Alright, Mark, you'll play as the main character, and Soonhae will play as the lead female." The acting director said. The others have their roles and made fun of each other.

Will Irene be okay if I play as the lead male?

"Okay let's read through the script." The director said.

As we read through almost half of it, we were told to have a break. I went to the vending machine to get water. Soonhae was behind me. "So, hows the script so far?" She asked me.

"It's good so far." I answered.

"The role really suits you."

"Aha, thanks."

"It's a compliment."

"Oh, um, thanks."

She grabs her snack that she paid, and walked off. She suddenly tripped and I quickly ran to her to see how badly she was injured. "You okay?" I said.

"Y-yeah."

I looked at her knee and it was bruised up. "This is why girls shouldn't wear heels." I told her. I helped her up.

"T-thanks.." she stuttered.

"No problem."

We both walked back to the room and everybody was there waiting.

"What took you guys so long?" Jackson said.

"She fell." I said.

"Sorry, guys. It's my fault." Soonhae said.

"Alright, stop with the chit chat and let's continue this." The director said.

"So, what do you guys think?" The director asked. Every one of us said, "it's good" and "it's sad."

"It's a really well written script," Our manager commented.

"Alright, you all have your roles, and I'll see you in the next two weeks to film!" The director left.

"Alright guys, that's that and let's go back." Our manager said.

We got up out chairs and went out the room and to the front door. "Mark!" Soonhae called.

"Yes?"

"Let's work hard together." She smiled.

"Yeah." I nod my head. "I gotta go now, bye."

I went inside the van and texted Irene right away.

Mark: I'm cominggggg

Irene: yayyyyy

Irene: I heard you're gonna be in a drama :3

Mark: yeah, I'm the lead male, you're not gonna be mad at me right?

Irene: no, because acting is all fake, I won't get jealous at all ^^

Mark: oh thank god

Irene: hurry backkkkk i miss youu

Mark: be patient xD

Irene: I'm going to sleep

Mark: huh?! Why?!

Irene: you're so slow

Mark: that's cause i kinda just started on my way

Irene: I'm going to sleep

She so cute.

I got a text from Soonhae.

Soonhae: hey, I just want to thank you again for helping me, no one has done anything nice to me like that before

Mark: really?

Soonhae: yeah, you're really cool to be honest and sweet

Oh um.. okay?

Soonhae: you want to hang out tomorrow? I can give you some tips of becoming a better actor

Mark: I don't have time tomorrow, I got things to do

Soonhae: if you do have time tomorrow, let me know

Mark: um okay

Soonhae: you know, I'm actually happy that I'm working this project with you. It's gonna be a good one. I can feel it!

Mark: yeah

Is she okay? She wasn't this talkative before we met.
