Chapter 10

Mark POV

Mark: Hey! You wanna go get something like coffee or tea?

Soonhae: sure!

Mark: okay, I'll meet you at the nearby coffee shop by JYP

As I waited, Soonhae finally showed up. "Hey." I greeted. "Hey! How's the new album coming?" She asked. "It's going great! You're gonna like it!" I said. "I'm sure I will." She giggled. My phone buzzed and it was a text from Irene. What are you doing? It said, I ignored it. "Aren't you going to answer it?" Soonhae asked. "It's a spam text, it's okay." I said. What does she want? She's starting to become annoying now.

Irene POV

Just watching him outside of the coffee shop with that bitch, just makes me want to throw a brick at him. Are you just gonna ignore me like that? I thought you cared. I texted. I'm busy right now, I'll call you later, okay? He answered. Busy talking with your new girlfriend? I texted back. As I watched him, he looked around the cafe then the window and saw me. Soonhae said something to him, Mark shook his head and looked back at his phone.

Mark: what the hell are you doing here?

Mark: if you're gonna make a scene here with your annoying little attitude, don't even start something

Irene: i'm not trying to and I'm not going to

Mark: go home, we'll talk later

Irene: i hate when you're with her

Mark: go home

Irene: you're always with her when i needed you

Mark: go home, now

Mark: you're annoying

I guess I am annoying. I walked away from the cafe and went to a bakery nearby to buy bread. The kids are probably starving.

"Unnie, why are you sad?"

"I'm just tired, from working."

"How come you didn't get a lot more bread?"

"I didn't have enough money to buy a gigantic bag, I'll buy a big one someday, okay?"

"Noona, how is your soulmate?"

I hesitated, and faked a smile, "He's doing fine, he's really busy."

"Can you bring him here one day? I wanna meet him."

"I'll see. Now, I'll have to go now, okay? Go back home when you're finished the bread okay?"

"We will! Take care!"

I went back home, took a shower, and laid on my bed. I opened my messages and stared at Mark's text messages from today.

You're annoying

Irene: how's your day

Mark: great

Irene: how's the album going

Mark: great

Irene: hey, i'm sorry about what happened today...

Mark: why do you hate her so much, there's no need to be jealous

Irene: i'm not jealous

Mark: then why do you hate her?

. . . I bit my bottom lip.

Mark: ???

Irene: because she's trying to take you away from me, because she likes you too

Mark: what?? She doesn't, we're just friends. I've told you that already. JUST FRIENDS.

Irene: Seriously Mark, she's trying to tear us apart!

Mark: I'm going to sleep, we'll talk later.

The feelings he had for me, are they fading away?
