I lay still, barely breathing as the night dragged on. I was locked in the back of a rebel vehicle. One tall, muscular soldier guarding me. I sat up against the side of the vehicle and winced, quickly looking to my side and leg. They were bandaged and probably cleaned thoroughly.

"Where are we going?" I flatly asked the giant brute as I faced forward without expression. He turned to face me, muscles bulging, scars seeming to jump off of his skin with his veins, and his bald head slightly reflecting what little light came from the front of the vehicle.

"You will find out soon enough" he said blankly, moving his head back to his original position.

He seemed uncomfortable to be in such a small compartment. It was metal all over, and just big enough to let me curl up on the floor whilst he stood up tall. He had to be at least 6"6 which is a lot compared to my 5"8.

"Why did you rebels bandage my wounds?" I asked, "I am the enemy."

"This may be a war, but we are not murderous savages like the government." He replied with a deep tenseness.

I tried to remember what happened, but the last thing I remembered was being on the ground, gun to my head, and then blackness. They must've knocked me out.....

"Is it normal for you to take prisoners?" I asked confused.
He just kept ignoring me.

The night was long even though I found time to sleep. When I awoke, a great beast was carrying me, or rather the guard was carrying me. When he saw I was awake he set me down and pulled me by a prisoners chain stolen and modified from one of our bases.

We walked through a dark cavern. "Where are we going?" I asked, but he just kept walking until we made it to a large room, and in the center of that room was a man, but not just any man. It was the Prophet.

Thanks for reading! This was more of a filler but I hope you liked it! My story is based off of Black Veil Brides new album veil and my own imagination! Let me know what you think in the comments and stay tuned for chapter 3!
