Chapter 7

I look at Nash not knowing what to do so I just look away. The period is over and we haven't said anything to each other he hasn't even looked at me. As I exit the classroom some people are really excited to go to the next period or so I think because they ran out that classroom as fast as they can and accidentally pushed me. I fell to the ground, I felt so embarrassed, "are you ok" I hear someone say and I look up to see Nash and I automatically feel butterflies"uh ya i-im fine" I say stuttering"Thanks" I say as he helps me up "no problem" he replies and we walk down the hall "so are we still friends" he asks "uh ya...well if you want to be...I'm mean if you don't its ok" I say nervously "well I think we can still be friends...right?" He says "yup" i say while walking into our next class and again we sit next to each other while we are in that class I forget about everything he has done to me and we are both laughing and talking ,I guess maybe I should just forget the past and move on with the present, yes I was heart broken but I still want to be friends with Nash and start over, every time I see him smile I get butterflies, even though he left me heart broken I can't stand not being with him. So the best thing is to be friends and maybe he can re-gain trust from me. As the period ends he offers to walk me to my next class and I reply with sure "so are you still mad about the whole break up" he asks "not really Ive just been trying to let that go and to forget about the past so I can just live the present...you know what I mean?" I say "ya and I'm terribly sorry for what I did" he says "ah it's ok" I say "really?" He asks "ya I mean it was really heartbreaking when I found out but it's ok now the past is the past there's nothing you could do, and I really would like to start new" I say "ya me too" he says "I don't know why I'm about to ask this but do you still have feelings for me" he says. I pause and think should I tell him the truth "uh I don't know" I say "oh" he says "do you" i ask him "of course why do think i asked for another chance" he says while staring into my eyes "oh" i say blushing"well im going to go,i dont want to make you late for class" i say "ok bye" he says "bye" i say as i wave and walk into the classroom. I'm so surprised that I would forgive him so easily. The rest of the day passes by really fast and as soon as I know it schools over.
