The school day went pretty fast, all though it was boring. Every class I went into I had to walk up and tell everyone something about myself, and it was annoying because everyone made a comment on my voice, I wasn't used to the attention, at my old school I was the same as everyone else, no one had EVER commented on my voice. Well, we did all have the same accent.

"So~ You want to hang out with us after school?~" Dash asked seductively as he lent up against Sam's locker, which was next to mine. He and his friends were crowding around me, asking if I could hang out with them after school.
"Sorry, but I've already made plans. How about tomorrow?" I ask with a smile. I see Dash frown a bit, the girl next to him who was in all pink smiled. "Okay! We can go shopping! Won't that be fun?" She says loudly, huh, she also has an accent, awesome. I smile and nod, just to be polite.

Soon the bell rang for school to end, I turned and grabbed my bag out of my locker, I see the spider and start to think. Maybe I should move it? But then it looks up at me. Eh, it's probably harmless. I close the door to my locker and see that the group was gone, thank god. I start to walk out the doors of the school, and there was Sam, Tucker, and Danny. They saw me and smiled, I waved and smiled back, running over to them.

"Ready to head to my place? I think I remember where I live..." I mumble, Tucker laughs and pats me on the back.
"Well, we know this place like the back of out hands! So we can help you." I smile at them and begin walking to where I think I live...

"So (Y/N), does it feel weird living in America now?" Sam asked.

I nod, "Yeah, I've had to cut back on the lingo so people could understand me. And America is so different to Aussie." I say smiling. America was nice though, much cooler than Aussie.
"Oh, how so?"
"Well, America is a lot cooler, heat wise, and you guys use way different things than I'm used to. And the names you have for some objects?" I laugh. "They're so weird!"
Everyone smiles. Then Danny speaks up. "Have you almost been killed by something there? I hear that it's pretty dangerous." Australia dangerous? Nah

"Nah, I mean, everywhere you look there will be a spider or snake but it's fine. Just leave 'em alone and they'll do the same." I say with a shrug.
"It's cool that you live in a dangerous place, well kinda, I mean, ugh." Tucker groans as he slaps his forehead. I chuckle and nudge him. "It's fine, Mate. I understand what you're saying."
We continue walking until I stop and a two story house.

"This is it," I say taking a deep breath. I jog up the concrete steps and open the door, wow, fucking idiot didn't even lock the door. I roll my eyes and swing open the door, a familiar disgusting smell hits me and I slam the door shut. I nervously turn towards the trio with a sigh, they looked confused. "I, uh, think it's best if you guys stay out here for a while. I'll be back in a tick." I give them a smile and turn back, opening the door and walking inside, shutting the door behind me. The smell hits me again, three key words could describe it; drugs, alcohol , and sex.

I block my nose and run up the stairs, the smell is a little bit more faint up here and I'm pretty sure they're in mums room. I look down the hall and see mums stuff scattered near the door. Yep, that must be her room. I walk towards the room and knock, hearing a groan. I gag and think of the worst, ew ew ew.
"Listen, I'm going to a friends place, I'll be back later." I don't hear anything, I roll my eyes and jog back down stairs and outside. Taking a deep breathe as I feel the fresh air. "She said it was fine." I say with a smile, again they look at me weirdly.
"You Australians act so weird..." Sam mutters with a small giggle, I see Danny and Tucker look at her with a blush. Oooo

"I know we do. Lets get going though, don't want mum to change her mind." I smile as she walks ahead of me, leading me to Danny's place, well I hope so, I hope they don't kill me in an ally.
I jog up to her and start talking to her, shes a pretty interesting person, her family is rich and her parents don't really talk to her since they think she's going through a phase. She told me how her, Danny and Tucker have been friends since forever, must be nice having friends.

I noticed that the boys were walking behind us, I guess they're talking about boy stuff. Nice.

"And here is the famous Danny Fenton's house!" Sam cheers as she puts her hands on her hips, I look up at the house. Well, it was certainly something. The foundation of the house was kinda like mine, it was two stories high, the house had a large sign pointing towards a window or the house saying 'FENTON WORKS', on top of the house was a bunch of expensive looking technology, there was metal pips going from one place to another and loads of weird ray looking guns.

I smile at the house, it may not be a normal house but it sure had character, it was nice. "Cool house, Fenton." I say with a wink and a smirk, Danny smiles back and opens the door. Once it swung open a weird green bullet shoots out of the house and towards Tucker. My eyes widen as I quickly push him out of the way, the weird bullet hitting a sign across the street. I look back into the house and see a large man with a ray gun? Strange. I lean out a hand to Tucker who was on the ground, he takes my hand and I pull him up as we all walk into the house.

"Hey dad." Danny says as he passes the man who shoot at the door.
"Danny!" The man shouts, grabbing him by the shoulder and placing the weird looking gun in his arms. "Your mother made another ghost gun! Fenton ray we call it!" He says with a large smile. Danny nods and and carefully passes it back to his dad. "Yeah, you almost shot Tucker with it."

The man looks towards the door and see's Sam, Tucker and I standing there. He looks at us then smiles. "Sorry Tucker! Hope you didn't get hurt!" Tucker waves him off. "And who might you be?" He says walking up to me. I take a step back and reach out my hand for him to shake, "(Y/N), (Y/N) (L/N)." I smile at him. He smiles and grabs my hand, really hard I might add, and shakes it. "Well (Y/N), I'm glad to meet you. I'm Danny's father, Jack Fenton." He lets go of my hand and pats my back, making me stumble. Jesus Christ.

"I'll let you kids go play, your mother and I will be in the kitchen." He says walking away. I lean back on my heels and let out a puff of air. "Your dad's pretty cool Fenton" I say as we all begin to walk up the stairs. Danny scoffs and look back at me.
"He's the opposite of cool, he hunt's ghosts. And so does my mom." He says with a groan. I chuckle, "Well I think it's cool."

We stop at a door way, I'm guessing this is Danny's room. He opens the door and the first thing I see is his posters on the wall, they were all about space and NASA, I'm pretty sure NASA is a space station in America, right? We all walk into his room, Tucker takes a seat on his gaming chair, Danny sat on his bed and Sam flopped back onto his bean bags, they looked like they were all huddled in the corner. But I must admit, his room was pretty cool. "Ughhh, I wish we didn't have school for another year." Sam groaned as she closed her eyes. The boys nodded along with her.

I started to look around the room, he had a lot of things, Books, games, posters, a desk. It was nice. "So how was your first day of American school, (Y/N)?" I heard, I turned around with my hands in my pant pockets.

"It's okay. Although Dash and his, uh... what's it called?" I question, "Where they throw the footy around? Uh, they're popular and have, cheerleaders..?"
"A jock?" Danny asked with his eyebrow raised. I smiled and clicked my fingers, then pointing my fingers at him in gun form.

"Yeah! Him and the other jocks wanted to hang with me this arvo but I said nah." I shrug and turn to his book shelf, taking out a book and looking through it. It was called 'Moby Dick' and it had a whale on the cover. 'What the fuck is a Moby Dick?' I think.  I turn around and walk towards Sam. "Sam, what's a Moby Dick? Why does it have me mum on the front?" I ask turning the cover to face her. She looks at the book and bursts out laughing, the boys too. I chuckle and sit on the corner of Danny's bed, opening the book.

'Chapter 1; Loomings.
Call me Ishmael. Some years ago- never mind how long-'
I stop, this does not seem like a good book.
"The book is about a Sailor called Ishmael, and he's trying to kill a giant white whale who bit off his friends leg." Sam say's as she stops laughing. I feel the book being taken out of my hands, now Danny has it. "It was my sisters, I don't know how it got in my book case, though." He says as he gets up and puts it back into the shelf.

"Did you really ask if that was your mom on the front of the book?" Tucker asks with small chuckles. I smile and nod. "I'm tellin' the truth. She look just like that!" I say with a laugh.
Tucker looked at me and broke into a smile, he shook his head and leaned back into the computer chair. "You're unbelievable."
