Faking It (Cameron Dallas)

Chapter 2-

It's Friday! Finally, these past three days have felt like 3 months. I'm so excited to meet the boys. All I need now is V.I.P tickets to the show.

"Katie," I shout, "are you all packed and ready to go?"

"Yup!" She says happily and runs to hug me.

"Okay that's enough, I need to get dressed and do my hair. Tell Dad i'll be down in a half hour to leave, alright?" I ask.

"Okay I will," Katie says and skips out of my room.

Okay, what to wear... I think to myself. I pull out a light blue tank top and some dark wash shorts, then put on some white sandals. Perfect. I walk over to my mirror, throw on some foundation, then a little bit of eyeliner to bring out my blue eyes and some mascara. I brush out my long, straight brown hair, which is kind of frizzy so I rub in anti-frizz product.

"Sara, are you coming? You can't miss your flight!" My dad yells.

"Yes I'm right here!" I say coming down the stairs.

"Okay make sure you have everything! Here we go!"

We jump into the car and begin to drive to the airport. I get out my phone and start to text my Julia, who lives near my mom, that I'm going to Seattle.

S- Hey Jules! guess where I'm going?

J- hey! i miss u! i shud hope ur coming to seattle to visit ??

S- u kno it!!

J- ah!! Girl why didnt u tell me earlier!??

S-bc i wanted to surprise u but i cant wait any longer. WE NEED MAGCON TIX. theyre goin to seattle and will be on sale TONIGHT.

J- ok!! Ill Come over later!! If i can. Txt me!!

S- will do. Bye!

I haven't seen Julia since spring break. When I lived with my mom a few years ago, we became best friends. Then, I moved in with my dad because my mom became so busy. I love my dad so much, but I'm so far away from Julia. And it sucks being so far away from your best friend. We can never hang out, except only when I come visit or she comes here. And it costs a lot of money for the plane tickets, so we don't see each other often.

(Know what else sucks? Being far from your future boyfriend. Also, never meeting your future boyfriend. I'm comin for ya, Cam.)

We arrive at the airport. I hop out of the car and go to the trunk to grab my stuff and Katie's. We walk in.

"I'll miss you girls. Call me every night, got it?" He says and gives us each a hug.

"Love you, we will!" Katie and I say in unison. I grab Katie's hand and we walk to our flight.

"Okay seats, Katie, I get the window. The isle is better. " I lie.

"Okay Sara." She says happily.

Poor girl, I shouldn't take advantage of her.

Too bad.

I whip out my phone and go on Instagram and twitter to look at tweets from the guys.

"@Nashgrier: Hey guys! Tickets for Magcon Seattle on sale TONIGHT. Hope to see you there!"

I can't wait.

Over the intercom, we're told our flight will be landing. As soon as it does, Katie and I race to the baggage claim. I let her win. We get out stuff and walk out to see my mom waiting for us.

"Mom!" We shout, and run to her. I couldn't wait to see her.

"Oh girls, I've missed you so much!" She hugs us and we go in the car and talk about so many things.

"Sara, I keep hearing about some Magcon thing? Some sort of concert?" She asks.

"Sure mom... A concert... anyway i NEED tickets. I raised money and everything! Please!" I beg.

"Okay! Julia and I already talked, you can go."

"YES! Thank you!" I say. "Can Julia come over so we can buy the tickets?"

"Yes, after dinner though." She orders.

I nod.

After explaining Magcon to my mom over dinner, I invite Julia over. We unpack my things, then go on the computer and anxiously wait for V.I.P tickets. Nothing comes up.

"Did you refresh?" She asks. "It's been an hour. "

"No, I will now."

As soon as I refresh, I regret it.
