"I just hope no one's around the school by this time," Renee murmurs on the back of the van which I agreed to.
I hope no one gets hurt during the fight, especially a mortal one. Heck, no one should even ever see us. Afterall, we're still a bunch of teenagers who were suppose to be attending school than this- than saving the whole fucking Australia for Christ's sake.
"I think you guys have to go inside in a group, first. You have to stick together." Dean reminds us as soon as we arrive to the area where Ashton is suppose to be at.
"How about you, Dad?" Jourdan asks, the worry on her eyes were crystal clear despite of the darkness that consumed every inch of our surroundings.
"Zeus and I will have to surround the school of Mountain Ash first so we could capture Ashton somehow," He explains and Jourdan seems to understand, giving her father a tight hug before she motions us to finally move.
As soon as we have tackled the school grounds, the alert of everyone's sense was switched on. We don't know if someone's actually watching us and that is why we have to stick together first.
"Is that a janitor?" Luke pointed as soon as we entered the school's building, and Luke was that fast to notice the existence of the janitor.
We immediately hid behind the lockers and I eyed the janitor who was currently mopping the floor. It's 12:00 midnight, I don't know there would still be someone here.
"I think I can handle this." Michael says, patting my shoulder as he walk past by me and went towards the janitor. Jourdan was caught off guard when she tried to stop him but I gave her a glare, which she answers with an are-you-serious look. "He can handle it."
Michael went straight around to face the janitor, and he smiled closed-mouthed towards him. The janitor obviously gasps from the surprise presence of Michael standing by him. "What the hell are you doing here kid?" The janitor asks, but Michael doesn't answer and instead, pulled something from his back-pocket. The reddish powder. I knew he still has them. I knew he cannot just let them go away. Old habits still are goddamn habits.
Michael mumbles something to the janitor's ear before the mop he was holding collapsed and he started to walk away, heading towards the door where we came from.
Everyone was strucked from what Michael did, I can see. Except for Renee since she knows what her brother's deeds are. Jourdan was the most surprise from the performance of Michael and I can't help but roll my eyes when she started asking me how and why the hell did he do his shit.
"Michael studied witchcraft at Hogwarts before, no big deal." I shrug, only to earn a small heavy punch coming from my own girlfriend. Though I know she meant it in a playful kinda way but werewolf powers hurt.
"No. Calum wasn't joking, really. I studied witch spells, but not in Hogwarts. That academy shit is not real as I want it to be." Michael huffs afterwards and I chuckle.
"You mean, witches are real?" Acer asks with wide eyed gaze and I know a fact that he does not like witches- at all.
"Used to be. Like decades ago. Michael found a lost book of spells and he studied them before my father could even find out and burned it himself." I explained.
His spells were his ways to catch his preys before. Usually, girls. And I think, this is why Grayson wanted him most in the pack. He had this power that no werewolf ever has.
In the middle of the conversation, a sudden loud bang from around the corner distracted us. "What was that?"
We immediately move to find out, sticking with the plan, we move together. As we turned around the corner, the dark hallway meeting our raising heartbeats. Because we know a fact that a thousands of clones can meet us on this very moment.
