It's was now senior year of highschool, and you'd been gone since sophomore year after winter break. It was graduation as well. You had already graduated, you were able to graduate junior year. But you missed him. So you decided to visit in the last day of their highschool years, moving back in the process. Being legally 18.
You knew all about what had happened since you left, Lloyd and the squad being the ninja and Garmadon going good. Which explained Lloyd never answering his phone.
Puberty had done you good over the 2 years you've been gone. You also became quite the volleyball player. And you wished you never left and spent the rest of your highschool years with your friends.
And you couldn't wait to be reunited with them.
Y/N's P.O.V
I wanted anxiously at the principles office. I knew they would either be happy or mad. What if Lloyd had a girlfriend? What if the voice mail all those years ago scared him away? What if-
"Miss. L/N. The gym coach said you can head to the gym. The end if the school year pep rally will be starting soon." The principle said. I gave her a nod and smiled. I waved good bye and ran to the old gym. For my return, my old volleyball team was getting back together and doing a game against the current team for old times sake. I still had my jersey from sophomore year.
As I entered the girls looker room, in was met with teary eyed fimilar faces. We all have hugs and caught up. Found out Lloyd doesn't have a girlfriend. Phew.
Sadly, we had to change into our uniforms. Light blue jersey with white on the shoulders and pink under our armpits. And our school name on the front and our number on the back. I was number 1. I quickly put on black spandex, my under armour knee pads and my black sneakers, and waited for my signal.
3rd person P.O.V
Once all the grade levels were seated in their specified area, the principle started talking about all the successions this year and how proud she was. And few other things.
But then, it was time for the game.
Y/N's P.O.V
"Alright! Can we have our volleyball team out here! Let's get this game started!" The principle said in the microphone. "And let's get the 2018 volleyball team out here too!" Everyone but me went out there. And this was the big reveal.
"Now, 2018 team. Where... is your team captin?" The principle asked, not really though. Knowing I was out back.
"Why, I don't know. Shall we call and see if she comes?" A girl on my volleyball team said. "Everyone chant her name! Y/N!" And everyone started chanting my name. I grabbed the volleyball that was next to me. I jogged to the gym doors. I wait a few seconds, and took a breath.
There was a target that I was supposed to hit that exploded confetti everywhere and dropped down a "Class if 2020!" banner. It was pretty high and in the middle of the gym. Then it all happened in slow motion.
The doors opened, and I sprinted out to the court. I threw the ball up, jumped up, and smacked the ball. Landing a bullseye.
Everything going back in normal speed, my team hugged me and confetti filled the gym. Once I could breath again, I grabbed the microphone.
"Lets get this game started!"
After the game
Once the game was done, us winning both games, I changed into my Hollister jeans and a off the shoulder black top, black sandals matching.
I said goodbye to my team and we switched numbers. After leaving the city I lost my phone and now that I'm back I had bought a new one, which had a new number. I grabbed my purse backpack thing, and wandered the empty halls. I stopped by my old locker. I opened it and saw a small F/I (first initial) + L on the upper left part of the door. I had carved it years ago. I closed the locker, and started my way to the exit.
"Y/N WAIT!" I heard a voice should my name. I turned around and almost teared up.

Gasping, I dropped my bag and ran to them. Once I reached close enough, I jumped onto Lloyd, wrapping my legs around his waist. He stumbled a bit, obviously not ready for my jump into his arms. Once he recovered, he rested his hands under my butt, to keep me up. I snuggled my head into his neck, pretty much shedding tears. He rested his head in the crook of my neck to. I felt something wet, he was crying.
"Hey lovebirds. We missed Y/N too." Kai said. I lifted my head and glared at him, but it soon was a smile and I jumped out of his arms and gave Kai a bear hug, picking him up in the process. We all laughed and had a big group hug.
"We missed you so much." Nya said.
"Its mutual." I respond. "Congrats on saving the city."
"Wait, what?" Jay questioned.
"The news. I have been here for about a week. I just moved back." I respond.
I have to admit, they all had puberty hit them hard. Especially Lloyd. He had grown more muscular, and his face more defined. His shaggy blonde hair didn't change, same old sweep to the side. Not that I was complaining. I had changed too. I had cut/grown my H/C hair and now it was at my mid back. I had grown an few inches, and I defenalty grew bigger in some places.
"Alright, let's leave the lovebirds alone." Kai smirked. I glared at him. Him, Nya, Jay, Zane and Cole all left leaving me and Lloyd alone.
"Y/N?" Lloyd asked.
"Yeah." I said, turning to him
"I love you too." I smile at him.
"I never stopped."
"Guess I can do this then." I was confused on what he ment by that, but was answered when his lips met mine.
Kissing back with full passion, all my feelings spilling out after 3 years of being hidden. He pulled away, and intertwined our hands.
"I'm glad your back."
"I'm glad to be back." I said, and pulled him roughly back into a kiss.
